My favorite place is the Hacienda in the Warm Springs area. It is also one of the most expensive. Classy. It is NOT a sex place. Actually, I live near PS and go there frequently. I was just trying to get some more info on the weekend's activities amidst all the interesting but confusing squabbling about who ate what and who paid for who. I sense that most of those who will attend have attended before and know the ropes. I am a newbie in soooo many ways, I just want to have a good time and not find out that I booked at the wrong end of town or missed an event because I was not paying attention.

 

On one hand, I understand that more details will be forth coming. On the other, I feel some anxiety because many of the suggested hotels are already booked up and I am worried about being too late. A few thoughts from someone who was a newbie last year.

1/ Definitely take Epigonos up on his offer to field your questions.

2/ Book the accommodations that best suit your tastes/sensibilities now. (I booked one place long in advance but then changed my reservation when a better option revealed itself a few weeks prior.)

3/ Know that there will be enough planned activities to keep you occupied *and* plenty of opportunities to do your own thing (or someone else's, should you so wish).

4/ Just go. You'll have a blast. It's a great crew. I'm only sorry I can't make it this year.
