There seems to be a proliferation of escorts that list their orientation as straight. (I am in Los Angeles) What is with this? Is there a market for straight top guys? Yes, there have been a lot of ads lately where the escort identifies as "straight." They may actually be straight (but willing, I presume) or it may be a marketing ploy to project that particular persona since there is a customer for everything. The "str8" escorts use this description for two purposes. #1 It's a fantasy of many gay men to have that straight boy they always coveted and #2 It gives the escort a lot of "wiggle room" to navigate requests for various sexual acts by saying "OH ...I don't do THAT...I'm straight". Indicating sometimes that a much larger tip would be required for them to "go THAT far" ( since he's "straight"). I can't say what has spurred the increase in straight identifying working guys. All I can say is this, if the guy claims to be straight bi or whatever, and performs well... I don't care. What he is able to do when it comes down to it is all that really matters.
