based on my fairly wide experience, I don't think the "sexual orientation" field should even be much regarded when doing your research.....

 

no revelation here, but I think the best research into "sexual orientation" is a couple polite text or email back-and-forths, discreet and to-the-point, to see how an escort replies and what the tone of the chat is...a direct phone call can be very revealing, also

Ditto in noticing the uptick in straight men among the increased ranks of LA RentMen. Personally I am not into servicing a straight stranger - though I have similar fantasies about heteros I know and care about. I think "ask me" should not be on any of the menu options in the ads - either declare your orientation/fee/safe sex or the line is deleted, which will make many profiles look as skimpy as they are. If any of those descriptors are up for negotiation, odds are the client will be the one shorted in the deal.

ugh, sorry to hear that, Wolfer.....all types out there, of course.....gotta say I've had a couple similar exchanges and I think it was with rougher types not used to polite, professional (educated?) conversation....I think they were more of the hustler school and were surprised when I suggested a meet of more than an hour!
