I've been through this before. What a great forum and now I see notes which are really news articles about Jared, or someone/thing else. I do recall this to be the forum I'd write to about, as a gay not out person where should I do what, etc and get good advice. I don't know, I'm not bashing any of the people who respond here but I did send a note on the escort search site and well, nothing helpful. So, here I am

looking for some help when I get to Provincetown about finding someone, or just somewhere to go to find someone. Sorry to be so strange but hoped for some good comments from this group..

Typically, if no one has advice to offer they do not respond. I suspect that's what happened in this case. As dutchmuch mentioned, there is not much of an escort scene in p-town. You would probably have to bring someone from Boston.

Rocky, when I responded to your initial inquiry in The Deli, I mentioned Ace's upcoming trip, after which Ace chimed in to say be was looking forward to being back in P-town.

 

I also mentioned that it would be helpful to know WHEN, exactly, you are going to be there, and something about YOUR TASTE IN MEN. Still, with this new post of yours, we don't know that.

 

There are not many P-town listings on the usual sites, but there are guys who drop in for a weekend, a week or longer during the summer season, so it's worth checking the sites periodically.

 

You're traveling at a nice time of year to be there, so even if you don't find a guy who is already there, I suspect there are guys based nearby (Boston) who'd be agreeable to driving out to P-town to meet you.

I was fortunate to be invited to share a house with Ace and some other Forum buddies a couple of years back. I ran ads on rentboy and rentmen while I was there and was able to schedule some appointments. If I'd had a car I would have been able to make some other appointments in neighboring towns, but I'd taken the ferry there. I think it's hit and miss both for the clients and escorts, as there are definitely escorts visiting each week but it's probably pretty hard to determine ahead of time who will be there when you are. Maybe luck of the draw is more like it.

 

If you want some assurance and decide to import a guy in, as Starbuck suggests there might be the possibility of persuading a guy from Boston or elsewhere in New England to drive or ferry out to meet you. Or if you have the means and motivation, it's not too hard to have a guy fly in either. I flew in to Logan and there's a water taxi direct to the ferry, and then you're right off to Ptown so it's all pretty seamless and easy.

 

As for bars, Ace has the place! I found The Vault and A House were fun and cruisy. The tea dances seem to offer opportunities too. Hell, just walking down the street! When people are in vacation mode, somehow the inhibitions get a little more relaxed.

Hi, after spending five days in PTown, I was very disappointed. the same people were on the sun

deck at Boat Slip during the day, very in to themselves, not friendly, very thong oriented and greased up,

the rest of the places, wow, it was like did you have to wake people awake to get things moving. Here I am at 61 looking for some fun, noo PTown isn't the place anymore unless you want to march down Commercial Street with your dogs
