Of my 93 reviews a bunch of them were written because I asked a client to. I never pushed the issue - e.g. "If you feel like it, I'd appreciate it" and of course I never asked if I had any reason to think the client did not enjoy the experience.

 

I love it when this type of behavior results in the label "self promoting." Yeah, sure. Escorts don't promote themselves, nor do they get paid for sex. :oops:

 

Truth is, we're all just a bunch of altruistic guys who like to promote personal integration and interpersonal harmony, hoping in our selfless hearts that it brings on the Age of Aquarius and world peace.

There's a huge difference between a guy that in one year crosses the hundred mark aggressively asking people to endorse him and another who throughout a decade and a half has amassed consistently glowing reviews, has people talking about him, recommending him, stays in the business without burning out and still, every time offers a special session to each one of his clients.

 

Dude, I wish ten percent of our colleagues showed your dedication, talent and consistency. I wish that every client that meets you will rave about you so that others can experience you.

 

Self-promote all you can! You have fucking earned it.

I take reviews with a grain of salt, they are just one piece of the puzzle. However, when the number of reviews appears excessive, say 50+ or even 100+, regardless over what time period, I find that a bit of red flag. It looks and feels like a car with 100,000 miles on the odometer! My preference is to work with newer, up and coming talent.

 

Totally agree with this assertion - there are guys who are just OVER reviewed on this site and I tend to avoid them because there just seems to be a "business model" in place that is a bit fordist! I have had some escorts hound me to post a review, and have even seem some who offer an incentive to those who write a review. Less can be much much more, and a few very sincere reviews trumps quantity for me every time.

 

As for you, Junior, as a fellow New Yorker my interest in your style was piqued by your posting here and I am totally turned on by your sincerity and honesty (not to mention your ad on that rentmen site). I would say just continue doing what you are doing the way you are doing it and I am confident that the "market" will react in your favor!

I know at least four people who have been escorting for years with repeat clients who no reviews on this site. There are clients who just don't write reviews or who just find a single escort and stick with that escort without reviewing him.

 

If people mention that they are going to write reviews, I do try to guide them to the more reputable review sites, i.e. this one.

Well, I got my third Daddy's Review today and have accumulated nine 5-star ratings on RentMen in the ~10 months since I've started. It's been such a wonderful journey so far.

 

I just want to say a big thanks to the members of this forum. I haven't been on a lot lately but the knowledge I gained at the beginning has been incredibly helpful in ensuring that this is a fun experience for both me and the men I've encountered so far.

There's no harm asking in a way that doesn't pressure the client, especially if it's a repeat.

 

Actually, I have a problem with being asked, or rather hounded for a review.

 

I was more than asked to vote for Escort of The Year, this is all very gauche.
