Was informed by a fellow escort friend of mine that a client almost didn't hire him due to having too many positive/mixed reviews. Please give some feedback to this as maybe this is valuable information to take in for those of us who do have a lot of reviews out there. I never heard of it being an issue before of one having too many positive reviews being harmful possibly, but maybe it is since I was informed from this other escort who has like over 100 reviews or more of what the client informed him. Like I told him - I can see if he has mixed reviews how it can be of question of his creditability as a reliable escort possibly, but not having all positive reviews. I could be wrong.......

I don't know who told you that JD, but I see having multiple positive reviews as only a positive thing. Every client is different, and I suppose it is possible that someone might think otherwise, but that certainly would have to be a small minority. You can't worry about every single personal opinion. Be yourself, and just keep doing what your doing in terms of how you present yourself, and I see only a very successful career for you.

Perhaps Juan will chime in here or you might want to contact him, and get some feed back. His advice is usually sincere, thoughtful and spot on. Good Luck....

It's been discussed on the forums before.

Some clients feel that a lot of reviews (with all or almost all of them positive) is just a sign of some sort of well-organized PR campaign by the escort.

Hey Will,

Well if it was discussed on the forum in the past I've never seen it as I only been an active member since Nov of 2014. How interesting as I never heard of this being a problem, but it's good to know.

First up, I haven't hired any escorts on here, so that is a potential negative about my opinion. It seems to me, however, that there are two parts to positive/mixed reviews. Positive reviews should have no effect, the review says you are good, so no-one has any doubts about what has been said. Mixed ones are more problematic, there's a 'maybe' there. JD, I haven't seen any mixed reviews about you, they have all been positive, so I don't think you should worry about it!

Hey Big,

Thanks sweetie for your kind words of wisdom and feedback as I will take in what you told me for future reference as all of what is being told to me here on the forum is valuable information along with the information my friend confided in me from his client. I hope Juan does give some feedback to this thread as I could use some pointers from him as well. :). HUGS.

I am forever impressed by the great comments that Juan makes in here (not just him, but he's the one being discussed just now).

Hi Mike,

Thank you for being honest, and very encouraging. This all is new information that I just wanted to gather to take in for myself for future reference so this sort of issue or problem doesn't arise for me or anyone else I may know who has a lot of reviews and not getting gigs on the count of the escort having too many positive reviews harming them.

I don't know the market there, JD, but I'm still sure you'll get the gigs!

For me, there is kind of a sweet spot of maybe 5-20 positive reviews. My practice is to hire well-reviewed escorts, and, doing this, I have never had a disappointing experience. So, 4 or 5 is the minimum I want to see. And I'm not exactly sure why, but I do tend to pass heavily-reviewed escorts by. Somebody with only a few reviews could be an undiscovered gem. But there are some men in whom I am so interested that I will give them a try no matter how many reviews they have.

+1 here. The more they read like ad copy, they are!

There's really no telling what other people think, JD. Some guys won't consider hiring an escort who isn't "well-reviewed," a term whose definition varies from client to client. Other guys think a preponderance of reviews is a bad sign. Still others complain that clients who are new to hiring don't write reviews while others question the veracity of first- or second time reviewers. Who can possibly keep up with these conflicting views? Moreover, who wants to?

There's no sense worrying whether someone will or won't hire you because you have too many reviews. Ask yourself: do you really want a client who is that mistrustful? My advice is to focus on what you can control: the service you provide. If you provide excellent service and do your best to please your clients you will win repeat business.

I like to read as many reviews as I can. I like seeing both the positives and the negatives, and its often easy to see when reviews are self made pr prints.

I think there are two separate issues here:

I suspect an escort who gets multiple reviews from first-time reviewers each week. I mean, what's causing this guy to get a dozen reviews a week, all from guys who have never written one before?

Separately, there's the question of an escort who has multiple reviews from established reviewers over a long period of time. Some potential clients may be more interested in finding the ingenue who has yet to have all those experiences, fresh meat as it were. Others may prefer the tried and true. And that's great. No escort can be every flavor for every guy, nor should he want to be. The catch is to meet the clients who like what you have to offer (newness? credibility? the boyfriend experience? a hard rough fuck?) and not worry about those who are looking for something else.

I like to read the reviews, but I also pay attention to the reviewer's name and his comments about himself. If I see a sensationally glowing review written by a 20-30 year old guy, I am skeptical of the validity of his review as far as how the escort might be with an older gentleman.

Do you mean like campaigning for Escort of the Year?

No. I just remember a few people posting last fall (I have only been on the boards since October) that they didn't hire escorts with lots of reviews because of the notion that it's due to an active PR effort by the escort.

Campaigning for EOY is something else entirely.

For me there is no such thing as "too many reviews". That's like saying "he's too hot" or "he's too kind/awesome".

With that being said, I always apply a healthy level of skepticism on any review. Someone could have 20 first time reviews with names I've never heard of that also seem similar to one another in terms of writing style that I would probably not treat with much credibility. However at the same time, there could be another person with the same number of reviews that have a mix of first time reviewers vs multi-time reviewers that I would see differently. In addition, I've spent time with guys that were well reviewed that I had the time of my life with and would love to keep them to myself forever and a day.... and others just as well reviewed that I would not bother ever re-engaging again. So it's never the number of reviews that really matter for me. It's the contents that matter to me.

Hi JD,

I have not had the pleasure of meeting you yet, but it is from your reviews and your contributions here on the forum that I have given you a place on my wish list! Long before you ever joined this forum though, you were already on my list because of your reviews and the pictures you had on your RB ad...if I go on the belief that a hot man actually looks hotter than his pictures (providing they're not fakes, of course, which I am confident yours aren't), then I knew from just looking at your online pictures that sometime, somewhere, I will enjoy meeting you!

As far as having too many positive reviews, for a man like you, with only positive feedback, from multiple and diverse reviewers, quite a few being forum members with multiple reviews posted, I would say: don't worry your beautiful head about this issue, it should be a complete non-issue for escorts such as yourself, whose reviews and reputations give them 100% credibility as among the top professionals available! Keep doing what you're doing, babe, and don't worry about the small sh*t!
