I just wouldn't want to be in the same room when the after effects of the street meat or McDonalds hit you, he he. :)

Killian James, I like your style. You've shown us that you can disagree with members without being mean-spirited. Looking forward to hearing more from you.

Now, Steven, just ONE DAY ago you said:

"Last time I checked personal attacks against members were not allowed in this Forum."

But it's okay if you use a purse? Frustrated ladies indeed! :)

(Maybe it's an ad feminem attack!)

...and that's the point. It's definitely not your brand. Sometimes it's nice to plan fine dining at a top-rated restaurant, but sometimes getting a hot dog (so to speak) from a street vendor can be very satisfying. And other times you're gonna regret it.

Precisely. Also known as "variety is the spice of life" and/or diversity.

My answer: Get out from behind your phones. You can't feel someone's energy from behind the screen of an I-phone. Get back into the clubs, bars, sex clubs or however you USED to meet guys, before all this crap was invented.

Excellent summary by Killian James.

+1 God I miss the olden days!

I find it kind of interesting how the "well reviewed" and "A+" escorts here who have responded have managed to completely ignore my point about how escorts have to start somewhere and didn't emerge from the womb fully formed with great reviews. What say you, Killian? How are new guys supposed to get to "your level" if one doesn't take a chance on them?

I'm probably less likely to have a problem eating a McDouble than I am to spending $250 on some sort of fancy meal with a rich, cream sauce and chocolate mousse for dessert :)

Excellent and entertaining thread guys! I will be brief which is against my nature! LOL! This thread resemples my OP on , "Craigslist," recently. I have been studying Grindr, Scruff, Adam and CL for a few months now with great interest. My take is simple: We cannot stop progress. We cannot stop technology. There was a day when http://www.rentboy.com/magicmikey and http://www.men4rentnow.com/magicmikey was new. There was a a day http://www.rentmen.com/mikeyusatop was new. Not that long ago! I say let's all get along and free, fair and open competiton on the free market. That is capitalism. I am not afraid of change. I am proudly on grindr. Scruff has no restrictions on escort ads as long as you are tactful and dont post nude pics. I get alot of clients from Scruff and a few from grindr. CL works for me as a way to get guys to the 3 main sites. Alot of married clients dont know about CL. Even some grindr guys have never heard of men4rentnow. I simply send them my direct links to the 3 main ads and then the client can decide. I do NOT offer any discounts but i am meeting an entirely new and previously unreached client base. ok, for me that was brief! lmao ....Mikey

with no dis respect to KJ, he's still a young escort working on getting a base of great reviews in which to spring board from

I would sooner ask a guy like ace, steven draker, david sf or peter hung

Mikey, I'm glad to hear that you're finding clients off the apps. I'm interested in this angle as well. Scruff's TOS does say that use of the site for any commercial purpose is prohibited. Of course, they may not be enforcing this. Can you give an example of the sorts of escort ads that they are allowing? Thanks!

Firstly, I'd like to say I never declared I was grade A or put myself on pedastal. However this is my response to the above posting, in which the forum member has unwillingly put a status on me.

Dude, its just luck. I really can't tell you how I did it other than attending events, posting here in the forum and having good pictures. Its sad, but true, that a lot of guys in this industry think that great things will just "cum" to them, pardon my French hehe. Like anything in life, if you want something bad enough, you need to grab it by the balls and SQUEEZE. I hope this helps you better understand how someone can achieve A+ status.

In previous posts you suggested or strongly implied that one should only hire escorts with A+ status or ones that were well reviewed here ... I understand what that meant. What I'm suggesting, in case it wasn't clear, is that the well reviewed and A+ escorts didn't start out that way. They were nobody. With no reviews. And no status. They had to start somewhere -- in bars, Grindr, Adam, with a mentor, Craigslist.

How do you suggest they get there if someone doesn't take a chance and hire an unknown from time to time so they can be eventually found in the places you suggest are the only good places to find a decent escort?

I agree with you but it was KJ who posted suggesting that one should get their hires or at least recommendations from guys who were well reviewed or A+ in status, which is why I asked him. I wasn't singling him out in any other way. Sorry if I suggested otherwise.

I have never used grinder for the reason as you say escorts are not allowed, but do use squirt.org and escorts do seem far more reasonable cost wise ............ if I like a guy want to see him a few times a month so a good fee is better for me, plus the escort at least gets to know trust and a regular meet. I do see a guy in London weekly for the past year and he has reduced his advertised fee as he says he prefers regular clients ,,, they are the best

Please reread my earlier post on my suggestions on how guys should go about doing that. I should have called it networking. If they want to get on the radar of daddy reviews just attend an event or start posting here to get hired by seasoned reviewers. I think this will be my last post on the subject though I hope I was helpful in all my posts and was able to shed a little light from an escorts perspective.

Okay, I understand you wish to truly avoid answering the question. That's not a problem but the above is a misrepresentation of what you really said/implied. The line went something along the lines of "you can hire rely on the recommendations of A+ escorts or you can go to apps with no verification" or something like that. The implication was quite clear that one should only hire the well reviewed, etc. and not give guys elsewhere a chance. Perhaps you just inartfully stated something and didn't really mean it but it sounded, at least to these ears, like one thing and not the other.

Ciao!

I think the message is clear, let someone else take the chances, for your money go with a proven provider. That is sound advice. How does one get to be a proven provider? Provide an excellent service at a reasonable fee and wait for word of mouth (or other body part) to allow you to move onward.

There are always people looking to break into a new field. Either you need to be lucky, exceptional or persistent. That is the way success is born, whether as an escort or in other phase of life.

Killian it seems has been exceptional and persistent and at least in my interaction with him, able to learn to provide an even better service.

Yes, but I do think people are missing the point that someone has to be the FIRST to hire the unknown. All were unknown at some point. If no one took that chance, you wouldn't have the chance today to hire the proven providers. I'm not sure why people are missing that point. But, no big deal .... I think we're pretty much done with this topic :)

  • 1 year later...

So it's been just over a year since I started this post....

My luck has continued on grindr. I've now met around 10 guys off it and 3 of those guys have become regulars. I know this topic was "controversial" but I'm having so much luck with the app I will continue to hire from there. Most I've paid has been $175 and I get way more than I would with any advertised guy. The guy I met last week was absolutely gorgeous and really down to earth and he's in line to be my new weekly adventure.

In the past year I've also hired from RB and I would say I much more prefer to go the grindr route.

good on you for finding the right guy in the right place!

this is an apples and oranges topic: what's good for you ain't good for me, but more power to those who find what they really want.

Chgo28bttm, I use Grindr when I visit Chicago since the regular escort scene is so thin there. Like you, I have had a couple of great experiences when paying and one mind-blowing session for free with a guy I've seen again. He just likes dads/bears. I find you go through a lot of BS on Grindr though, and that gets a little tiresome.
