When escorts accidentally leave lube at your place, do you call them back or keep it?

I just realized that I most likely left an expensive bottle of my favorite Swiss Navy silicon lube at the hotel when I visited a client the other night. I hate when I do that too. I had just bought the thing not long ago and it was pretty full.

Now, I'm pretty sure he knew I left it there, and didn't bother to let me know either the next day or that night atleast. I don't know why people think they're entitled to a free bottle of shop supplies just because it's forgotten there. Just because I take my car in for an oil change doesn't mean I help myself to a bottle of oil off the counter, unless it's OFFERED as a promotion or something. I had it happen in the past with some JO h20 Lube...a bigger bottle. completely forgot it at someone's place. I got ahold of him the next day, he acted like he was out of town...and never even contacted me back.

That's why I like the small little packages they give you at the testing clinics like ID Glide. I'm just going to start carrying little ounce bottles and using that for lube. In case anyone has it happen in the future, the better thing would be to do what one of my clients did when I (once in a lifetime) forgot a piece of silver jewelry at the hotel. Put it in a bag and took down and left it at the reception.

+1. I'm amazed someone actually started a thread on this and wrote three whole paragraphs. What a minuscule thing to be worried about (major eye roll).

I'm sure nobody "took" the lube, but probably threw it out before checking out. Hardly the type of item you want to leave at the reception area for someone to pick up.

What should concern you more is the fact that if the client really enjoyed your session together and wanted to see you again, he would have taken the extra step and contacted you about the lube.

Three comments:

1) This is a good example of being petty. You left the lube, the client didn't take it from you. The client probably has better things to worry about than your lube, such as attending to business or enjoying his vacation. Buy another bottle of lube and move on.

2) Given that you have left lube behind in the past, get a couple of small travel bottles and fill them with lube. They are easier to cart around and if you leave it you have only lost a small portion.

3) You are assuming the worst based on your assumption that you left the lube at the client's hotel. You could have dropped it getting out of your car or it could have fallen out of your bag inside of your car.

If an escort left a bottle of lube in my room, I'd throw it in the trash and not think twice about it.

It's a routine business expense. Get over it.

Your reaction speaks volumes....which is unfortunate.

I have had two of my favorite escorts forget some item. Andrew Justice left 4 or 5 condoms behind one time. When I texted him about it, he texted back: “Put them to good use!” Logan Brock left a half bottle of Gun Oil lube behind. When I told him about forgetting it, he told me to hold on to it so we could use it the next time we got together!!! Maybe because these men are regular hires of mine, I feel no qualms about communicating about these “petty” things.

Andrew Justice's condoms would be wasted on me as I am afraid we do not wear the same size unfortunately for me.

Good idea, and you don't need to switch brands. I Googled Swiss Navy lube and found a 2 oz size on Amazon with free shipping with min purchase:

Really? THIS is what concerns you? I think you should consider another line of work because obviously you're not making enough if a bottle of Swiss lube warrants a 3 paragraph report. I'm just sayin'.

Don't mean to jump on you specifically Joey but

1. if the guy was a hotel, I assume from out of town what is going to do with an open bottle of lube which too big to carry on plus it will get all over everything.

2. The suggestion to get the 2 OZ bottles and fill them is an excellent idea and one that I use myself. I but the big bottle of Gun Oil and then fill a couple of smaller bottles one in my bag and next to the computer.

3. Big thing here once again we are forgetting the big picture this is on par with clients who write in complaining about gentlemen always ordering the most expensive thing on the menu when offered to go out for a meal. To the gentleman/client complaining about paying $20 for parking. Gee the big item here is the fee and did the client have a great time and did have a good time.

I am usually a very self-sufficient guy and always bring along my own items, like mouthwash, body wash, tooth paste, lube, etc, especially if I am going to a gentleman's home. I would never think of using any of his stuff even though 99% time they tell me to. I am uncomfortable doing so. But I have forgotten so much stuff through the years, especially the body wash since I leave it in the shower. A few guys I just leave some supplies and they are comfortable with that.

Anyway dont mean to rag on you Joey but this really is a very petty complaint and plus you are putting the blame on the client. You are the one that forgot it, no way is this an issue for the client. I would never think to leave it at the desk, "Say a person who was in my room before left this behind, he may come by to pick it up." If the client does not have a bag and he looks and see's it's lube. Oh and what name do expect the client to give at the desk, because most of the time if you do leave something they will ask for an ID, unless your client was at the Motel 6. So no way am I dropping lube at the front desk for you to pick up, no not happening.

And if he traveled to your city by plane, he won't be able to get through take the lube with him unless he's checking a bag (which few people want to do).

Yep, this is the biggest issue. When you're delivering a high end experience, you don't want the client to feel you're nickel and diming him. Yes, it's frustrating to lose a $25 item, but keeping your paying clients happy will be better for your business in the long run. Even if he called you about the lube, the best response would be, "Keep it and use it in good health!"

Years ago an escort left a bottle of poppers behind. It was the first time I'd ever tried them. I was there on a business trip and I didn't notice them until packing the next morning, flying out after my training class. It never occurred to me to try to figure out some way to get them back to him; I had less than an hour before leaving the hotel for good.

Twice someone I've hired has left something behind. Both times I called the person right away and they retrieved their property. As someone who has seen Joey in DC, I would gladly see him again.

(Sigh. . . ) followed by another world-weary sigh. . .

Actually this has happened to me so many times in my career that I created a special shrine in my house to keep this memorabilia. I went over to IKEA and bought me a fabulous curio cabinet to display these very trophies. I made little display cards just like you see in museums with names and dates clearly marked on the cards. It's become a conversation piece for my many guests when they come over to frolic and play. I've even had trick-or-treaters come by and ask to see the special exhibit. Word has got around and now I have guys actually "forget" stuff on purpose. Just to be included. I'm thinking of contacting Frommers and Fodors for inclusion in next year's edition of Things to See in Philadelphia.
