How much are you willing to spend at a Strip Club?

Attending a male strip club isn't cheap... Cover + coat check + drink just to get started... A 3 to 4 minute lap dance costs $20 and that's just for 1 song. Don't ever forget to count those songs for if you do, you'll find yourself paying a lot more, dancers count in a different language.. In NYC, use of a private room for 20 minutes can range from $100 to 250 + tips. All adds up to a very expensive night.

 

In NYC more and more bars/clubs are offering a male stripper night/revue to their venue. That's great news but it comes with a price. The number of men who are willing to pay for this type of entertainment is limited. As a result, attendance at some is down and their future looks bleak.

 

So, how much does an average night at a male strip club cost you? And, how often do you attend?

It does seem there have been a few new options hitting the market since the closing of the Gaiety a few years ago, The Web last year, and Urge Lounge's putting the kabosh on dancers. That said, you'd think the city that never sleeps could support more than one venue...especially since most don't offer dancers every night of the week.

On a "good night" I'll spend over $1,000. I do drink champagne on a "good night" however and that pushes up the barbill. A "good night" is highly dependent on there being several hot dancers that grab my attention. I can just as easily spend only $30 on some drinks and have no "company" as it were.....if there is no decent talent around. Last time I went to the Boardwalk I spent about $20 on two drinks and fled......it was that bad. I always go into a club with a pocket full of cash and hopes that I can spend it. When I leave, I still have most of it or almost none of it.......really depends on what's inside.

 

Hanging out in nice stripclubs (male or female) is not a poor man's vice. As some male stripclubs have become more sophisticated and offer more nudity (think Stock and Swinging Richards), the prices have soared. If you want quality and you want to "play", you gotta pay. No way around it.

If it's a proper strip club (and not just a gay bar hosting one special night) with private areas for lap dances, champagne rooms, etc., then I'll gladly spend between $200 - $500 in a night if the right guys are there.

This calculus is now regrettably moot, but for old time's sake ... At Club 20 I would try for the discipline (though you saw about how well it worked!) not to spend more on lap dances there than it would likely take later in the evening to go into The Web and bring one of the dancers home for the night.

I always pull $400 from the ATM. I routinely go back for another $200 then one last stop for about another $100-200. I can't explain why I just don't pull the whole amount I know that I will need the first time. I think that it makes me feel better just pulling smaller amounts during the night. I always spend the same amount every time, but it seems like less...

 

Of course if I am at Swinging Richards in FL...well then I just go to the bank and ask for $1000, there isn't anyway I can get out of there for less and still have a good time.

All the hidden charges are what get me. I would never drop over $100 for a private dance... that's absurd to me. There are plenty of good options where $50 gets the job done.

 

That said, I usually drop $200ish when you tack on cover, parking, beverages, etc.

Maybe I'm naive but I had no idea guys spent this much money in a strip club. My initial reaction to the top-end amounts was 'For that much, why not hire a couple of guys for a good group session with full sex?'

I love strip clubs but for me they are simply a visual experience. I tip the dancers I enjoy but not a huge amount, usually between five and twenty dollars each over the course of an evening. Lap dances do absolutely NOTHING for me. If I intend to go that route I want to go all the way and I hire an escort for dinner a couple of hours of “down and dirty” play time for around $500

Strange. My experience is the polar opposite of yours. For me, the strippers are so much more reliable than hiring a guy off Rentboy/M4RN. I have yet to have an excellent experience in hiring an official escort.

 

What you see is what you get with a stripper. You know what they look like and how they carry themselves. Masculinity is very important to me and one cannot judge that from a RB photo. More often than not, I have been disappointed with escort hires from online ads. They often do not look like their photos, are much older than they claimed, and usually don't pass the masculinity test for me.

 

I frequent clubs like Stock and Swinging Richards enough that the strippers know not to fuck with me and don't promise things they won't deliver. The strip clubs work infinitely better for me than an on-line ad hire. Of course, different strokes for different folks. Agree with EZE. The great thing about strip clubs is that in a min or 2, you can get more information from the stripper then in hours of mining the net regarding a potential escort. Plus, if the stripper doesn't meet with your requirements, you can move on, cost-free. As for the earlier question about what happens for several hundred dollars, I would say that it is very dependent on the strip club and the stripper. Rachet, as previously stated, the experience varies wildly from club to club and dancer to dancer. If you are in a club that features guys dancing in underwear, or similar but does not offer private sessions (lap dances or champagne room) then you are likely to experience much less interaction. That's a general statement, but fairly consistent. Those clubs that offer private rooms (champagne rooms) have the ability to offfer more interaction, however, the type of room (level of privacy) has impact on the customer's comfort level as well as interaction. Obviously, champagne rooms also cost much more than a lap dance which is generally the dancer rubbing against you (I've never cum from a simple lap dance) and depending on the club rules, there is varying levels of contact that can be made with the dancer. I have had the same experience with regard to the strippers. As EZE and others have said it is trial and error. I have found that once a dancer has been tipped generously, and they get comfortable with you, that almost anything will go privately, and I have hired many dancers for escort services. I have found them to be reliable, enthusiastic, and more reasonably priced than a escort. The use the lap dance as a way to make my final choice as to who I will take to the VIP room or hire separately. I tend to gage a dancer on how he will perform behind the scenes by how far he will go in a lap dance.

 

These dancers get asked all the time, so this is certainly not a shock when you ask for additional services outside of the bar. As several people have mentioned that this is not for the faint of heart. Dropping a thousand dollars at Swinging Richards or several hundred at the Boardwalk is something that every person needs to feel comfortable doing.

 

In the end, I just love hanging out with friends at a strip club. It can and often is a delightful evening of food, drink, and fun. I have on several occasions regretted hiring an escort, but I have never gotten up the next morning and regretted going to Swinging Richards. AND it is cheaper than supporting a wife and kids...
