generally at least $200.00, don't get to do it all that often. I'd be broke if there were a place close to me.

I have to laugh at my own post, I just went thru my receipts and found that I took $200 3 times from the ATM at Evolve/Adonis the night I was there.

So I spent somewhere around $600, it was worth it.

We used to have a male strip club here in Nashville that was open for a year or two and actually featured some muscular, attractive dancers. I went at least once a month and spent approx. $300 to $500 which included several "private" shows. But, honestly, I always left frustrated and wanting more than the dancers could legally deliver. I had to go home alone and jack-off thinking about the eye-candy that I'd just met at the bar. For my money, it's always been more satisfying to hire a professional escort and have the full sexual/boyfriend experience.

I've been in difficult situations because of failing ATMs or lost cards, so when I travel somewhere where I'll be doing business in cash, I usually bring a pile of cash with me as a reserve, then take out half my daily limit from an ATM every day I'm in town. If I don't spend it all, I pay my hotel bill in cash, and save whatever is left for my next trip.

In these cases, I never get a hotel room without an in-room safe :)

That should give you an idea of how much I'm prepared to spend at a strip club :)

Historically, I've had spotty good luck here at Dick's Cabaret here in Phoenix. Years back one hot guy when in VIP would cum on my chest, another who would seriously make out with me and then let me suck him off taking his load down my throat and another who once sucked me off and took my load. A bit of variety. Plan to spend between $200 to $300 dollars. Some sessions will be a bust. As previously stated "what you see is what you get" and I can attest to the fact fact that I like 'em masculine. It's been over a year since I've been to Dick's...I wonder what's going on there these days?

Peace,

Kipp

I usually spend between $200 to $300. I think you get more bang for your buck in Montreal than anywhere else; the least bang in Fort Lauderdale. New York is sketchy. Despite it's good management, greed has taken over at the Adonis and the arrogance of the gay-for-pay muscle guys is getting very tiresome. I've stopped going there. The only places seem to specialize in blatinos and aloof Russians.

Johnf, I agree that Adonis is well managed and provides you with excellent updates (with a picture lineup) on their Wednesday and Saturday events but I'm not sure what you mean by "greed has taken over"... Who's being greedy? Management, dancers, or the patrons?

I mean the greed of the dancers -- doing less, demanding more, miscounting dances, bragging about being straight, that sort of thing. My last bad night there (lackluster, do-nothing dancers, egregious miscounting) culminated in a conversation with a gay-for-pay dancer who wanted me to take him home. I asked what his limits were. There were many, but the bottom line was that it would cost $300 and I could not touch his cock. I wanted to weep. What the hell do these guys think they do for a living?

John... i suggest don't let a few bad dancers spoil the whole event for you. Overall Adonis continues to offer the best choices you could have in nyc. Some of the dancers are really very nice but one jackass blew me off recently even when i tried twice, nicely and politely, to get a lap dance from him. (He was only interested in a specific type of client and was not interested in my dollars.. so there..) But i continue to be a loyal patron and have some some real good times to cherish.

I try not to say anything negative about anyone, so what about a hypothetical situation where one does a lapdance, where the dancer doesn't keep their agreement and during the whole time is talking about others who give them hundreds of dollars for doing nothing and being very indifferent. Then when they demand a tip and you reluctantly give them a small one, they complain about you and everyone ignores you? Then when you talk to the management, they say dancers aren't allowed to make agreements?

To be fair, I understand Tim has a balancing act between keeping the dancers and the large paying clients happy, even if some have an attitude, and the rest are caught in the middle. But I don't think it costs anything to be nice to people, honest, and treat them with respect. There are clubs for everyone. There are people who are looking for the straight snobbish muscular guys even if they have an attitude and there are those who the web was a good match for because they were friendly and appreciative.

There are several discussions going on here so I will talk about two of them.

1. I had a very good time at adonis in December, spent about $500 and did not find any of the dancers i met/had back rooms with, trying to hustle me. Yes one maybe two wanted to have more time but I told them i was playing the field and wanted to try other dancers.

2. Perhaps I did not tell any dancer I expected certain behavior during the lap dance so I wasnt disappointed in any I received. None of the dancers I met with demanded a tip. But, If a dancer is complaining about you but you are putting out money to dance with them, then I don't think the other dancers will hold that against you since, when dancers know there is a patron that is willing to spend money they all will be trying to hook up with that patron to get what them can from him. At least this is my experience from being at various strip clubs, including this past week in Key West.
