it just means that vimeo doesn't want it embedded here ... meaning, that it will play on the context of this page on this forum. You can still see it by double-clicking on it (NOT on the blue link within it) ... which takes you to the vimeo page.

I'll be interested to see the comments here. Comments on vimeo run the gauntlet.

Very interesting. I got a little confused around minute 8. great cinematography, and interesting shots of Chicago. And a very handsome actor!

Note: It was filmed in 2009.

Thanks so much Shadowcatzxxx for the heads up on how to get the vid to play. Personally I thought that it was really well done, I liked the little twist at the end. The only thing that bothered me was the recurring theme of older clients treating escorts badly. It does work both ways, I get that, but I have never treated an escort that coldly during a hire, though I do know that it happens. In this particular film however, I thought that it was a necessary inclusion into the script, as it made the film more interesting.

I love 1:54. He's the only one taking notes, while all the students are texting or sleeping.

It was fine up until 6:30 or so, when it ventured off into Clichéland. And a real escort would never drop their money on the floor.

Amateur.

Oh, and it's "306," not "360."

Eee gads. I'd say it was a cavalcade of cliches from the get-go, with the exception of the twist at the end. The twist at least redeems it. The perspective on what it's like to escort appears to have been written by someone who has not escorted and doesn't seem to know much about it - it reflects what they THINK it would be like to escort. And the music... ugh, I had to mute my speakers!

Maybe I'm too harsh, since the concept is interesting but the execution could have been much better.

Well I wanted to be nice, Nate. I did so enjoy the expression of "I've been used and abused so!" that was on his face post-coitus as he dropped the money and looked around dazed and about to cry. Client was a bit more realistic, since he tried to fuck without any lube or a rubber, since assholes are apparently self-lubricating.

Put me in the thumbs down column. Nothing original about it. Gay for pay is not news. Client was a clod from the get go. I feel sorry for anyone who gets pawed like and that was before what appears to be just this side of a rape. Did like the music. Was not surprised by the end, in fact it seemed obvious from the get go.

I don't think that every representation of something has to show the 'typical' experience - nor do I think that every representation is necessarily declaring 'this is the way it always is'.

Scenes that obviously ended up on the cutting room floor...

1) The "escorting partner calls to beg him to commit to a 3-way because the other escort wants the money but can't stand the client" scene.

2) The "butt-rinse" scene.

3) The "what do I have clean to wear that would look good and make the client hotter for me" scene.

4) The "check the ass again" scene.

5) The "goddammit who set the clock behind so that now I'm running late" scene.

6) The "fuck fuck fuck my ass won't get clean well fuck it he'll just have to deal with it" scene.

7) The "perfect client who sends a last-second text before you walk out the door but it's too late to cancel now" scene.

8) The "I hate the metro and their single tracking when I'm going to see a client" scene.

9) The "pretend cell phone conversation to get past the doorman/desk clerk" scene.

10) The "sudden returned phone call from friend/boss/mom/sig-o who wants to talk for non-stop just before you knock on the door" scene.

11) The "can I use your bathroom real quick, and check everything one last time, plus scout out any unusual pharmaceuticals in your medicine cabinet" scene.

12) The "Jesus Christ I'm hungry and where is the nearest Five Guys?" scene.

Now that would have made for an interesting—if 3-hour long—film.
