if anybody hasn't noticed yet, looks like he was put on time-out a couple or three hours ago.....

 

moderating this board has got to be a pain....thanks to those who do that (Cooper, deej, and ??) and thanks to Daddy for his patience and occasional humor....(in)valuable board here and I know the good people will stay and keep it that way....

And I'll echo what Azdr & tyro have said - gratitude to the moderators & Daddy for what is a difficult & usually thankless task.

You know when someone goes to time-out, when you are viewing the M-F and posting, the moment a member is sent to time-out as seeker says, "time-out" replaces their rank. Not always, but warnings are usually given first. A subtle hint from Daddy usually is the first sign of things to come.

as said, his rank is now replaced by "time-out" in all his posts, old and new....it looks like his last post was about three+ hours ago, so I decided that's when the law (so to speak) came down on him....

Visibility in the membership list is a setting in each user's profile. It has nothing to do with time-out status.

I've been on vacation for the past 5 days and am just catching up. Why was city law on timeout? Was it because of his posts on ND? I didn't really see anything wrong with it...He was just stating his opinion and pointing some things out...have I missed something while i was nibbling on Macarons in Paris?

This is just me, but I get the feeling that perhaps multiple profiles were involved more so than any specific attacks on Our Delicate Flower Noah Westerly Butler Wilkes Hamilton. Or whatever the fuck his name is.

 

If the latter were the case, Glutes would have been booted a long time ago.

Actually multiple profiles and usernames are allowed by Daddy and he is personally aware of those that use them. It was Citylaw's personal attacks on Mr. Driver that sent him to time-out. Think what you will of ND. I have my own personal views on his past history and have expressed how I felt about him, both here and privately, but when Daddy says enough....he means it.

 

Personally I like Citylaw, I like him a lot, and I hope that when all of this has blown over he will return. Perhaps he will even return as Citylaw, or invent another username or persona, as so many here have done.

Daddy is not stupid for sure, and I am sure he can distinguish similar writing styles, and also similar hatreds, but there are resources and ways to hide one's self from people like Daddy... if someone wants to go to the trouble.

Frankly, I'm not going to prepay a minute of Noah Westley Watson Driver's time, not even at the beginning of a session I will probably never book with him. Well, maybe with multiple IP's and Web proxies, but alternate emails are still going to carry the IP address of the computer that registers the account. Also, I imagine, Daddy's got a list of IP addresses I've used with my login - so that even if I log into my account from a different IP address, Daddy knows I've used it. From there it's a simple match - who's logging in with the same IP address(s)?

 

So someone with the intent to deceive Daddy needs not only multiple IP addresses / VPN / Web Proxies, but also multiple personalities and multiple email addresses - and he has to be sure not to log those multiple personalities in from the same IP/VPN/Web proxy. Sounds like a whole lotta work!

 

I'm running down to Starbucks so I can login on my iPad with a different IP onto my other personality just so I can agree with ME!

I'm a little confused about how the above statement, from Noah Driver himself, doesn't fit the definition of a "proven liar and thief." Please take the time to explain to me how repeating back statements about what is essentially criminal behavior is "beyond the pale."

 

You know what—actually please don't take the time to explain it. I could sit here and toss out statements like "willful stupidity" and the like—but really, why bother? There are always going to be people who just don't get it—and they will champion and cheerlead others who deserve it the least. So let's just move on with a more pleasant topic.
