Hey Guys, I noticed not too many upbeat posts lately :( . Are you all feeling stressed about the potential war, superbug, economy, the Dell dudes arrest :) ?

I try not to get too stressed over things I have absolutely no control over. It's interesting to read other people's opinions though I kind of miss the more fun posts that most of you are infamous for. At least Les is still posting some hot photos

:7 .

Just my thoughts not meant to sound negative.

Huey,

I have noticed that there has been an absence of humor lately and it may be as you have guessed ; that things in the world don't lend themselves to being laughed about. Now this comes at a time when personally, I am doing much better, the new meds have worked. My depression seems to be a distant memory and each day presents new issues that get handled and filed away just like the old days. It's ironic that as I prepare for my trip to NY (in the dead of winter, what was I thinking??/ I'll say it for you , I wasn't thinking) I am excited about the trip even as escorts flee the city (Rick, Derek,) cancel plans to visit (small town John) and the biggest news in new york is about a crackdown on escorts and masseurs. Even so, braving the cold, possible staph infections, over zealous prosecution of escorts and of course the snow, I am excited about visiting the biggest city on the world, praying at ground zero, seeing the Producers and Hairspray, making my first trip to a strip joint (the Gaiety) and having a chance to meet the local M4M'ers in NY. If i can't be happy about that, I picked a fine time to be cured of my depression. Now if I could just get my DSL back up and running so I don't have to use this danged dial up connection anymore, then I would be really happpy because I could see Les's pic posts right away instead of making a sandwich while I wait for them to load.

Well, you'll probably hate me for saying this but I'm as happy as a clam here in South Florida for the winter. We had a cool start to the season but things ARE warming up nicely. :p Last night, for instance, I had a VERY HOT encounter with Brok Austin who made a quick trip over from Ft Myers with his buddy Mark. These are two HOT men, altho I only got intimate with Brok but met Mark later when he returned to the hotel from his own date. Sorry to hear about all the depressing news but it doesn't get me down. Another way to counteract the blahs here is to read about the shenanigans that pass for municipal politics in Miami:7

The wintry weather seems to be going on forever here in Ohio. We've been rather spoiled by mild winters the past few years. Last winter was quite warm and relatively snow-free.

Plus, I went off the Zyprexa(for bipolar)in early January and have gotten back on the emotional rollercoaster.

I'm really looking forward to spring. Last night, we had high winds(50mph), snow, thunder and lightning. At least the sun is shining today.:-)

I think I too am marginally SAD- I know that about this time I've just got to get some sun, which means I gotta get outta here. With the shorter days, and my office windows look in, not outside, I can go for a week without seeing the sun. Plus its been so cold this year. I'm on my way to Hawaii tomorrow, so things are looking up!

It has been a long winter. I have a small business in the midwest and I have not seen business this slow since the early 90's. The phone is not ringing. The temperatures are brutal and unforgiving. News on the world front is haunting. I pray for these United States.

The good news is that I have a regular escort I see every couple of weeks. He treats me like a king and keeps my spirits up and yes, that too. In a few weeks I will take a jaunt to Vegas and see my favorite escort of all. There will be less gambling money this time but who cares. In my life I have had trials and tribulations and hard times and stress and much sadness but my health is still good and I consider myself one of the luckiest beings on this planet.

Cheers and good health and temperatures in the 70's to everyone.

Lucky's picture comes from louisianacooking.com. On a windows machine, you can discover the URL by right-clicking on the image and choosing Properties.

To insert a picture, you need a fully qualified (and accurate) URL to an image on a web server somewhere.
