A Blessing and a Curse

Well most of the country is gripped with an intense heatwave, that makes you sweaty, tired, uncomfortable, cranky and impatient.....Yet you need to carryon with your daily duties.

 

On the other hand, and a brighter side, this weather causes people to shed their clothes, and here in NYC, the parade of shirtless, muscled, bulging, sweaty boys in their shorts is a feast for these horny eyes... And the truly beautiful ones LOVE to show off. No complaints from me....

I was raised in a town that's pretty much in a swamp. I love hot weather. I don't try to stay cool -- I enjoy being warm. I don't like to stink, though. So it's usually two cold showers a day during the summer.

No heat wave where I live...it was beautiful and in the 70's today.

 

Hate the heat. That's why I live where I live. On the other hand, love a sweaty guy. When it does get hot, I stay cool by drinking lots of tea, lemonade, and limeade.

Yes- this is the time of year that I get to do a lot of armpit watching, lol - I can remember, back to my early teens at least, being fascinated by male armpit hair. (In fact, I have a specific memory of going to a college basketball game, and being more interested in the players' arms and pit hair than I was in the game itself, lol.) So of course seeing lots of cute guys in tank tops, etc, this time of year is paradise for me. (And bare shoulders are hot too.) Of course, if a guy's wearing a loose-fitting t-shirt, and I'm in the right position to get a peek under his sleeves, lol...I always feel like I'm looking at something rather secretive, even though I doubt most guys really give a second thought as to whether their pit hair is showing or not, lol. I also have to admit I like sweaty guys, so catching just a whiff of sweat scent as I get close to a guy in this weather can be fun. ;-)

 

On the other hand, curse this heat wave indeed. At least right now I'm basically only working evenings, so it's a little cooler when I head out to work.

I had the same issue my Junior year in High School. My British Lit teacher was generally acknowledged as gay (This is before Stonewall) and had a penchant for short-sleeve shirts. Nice pit hair! I wonder if he ever noticed me staring at his pits?

I hate hot weather. I don't care if it is dry heat (the desert) or wet heat (humid climates)-- I hate it. My idea of great weather is 68 to 72 with a slight breeze 24/7 and all rain between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. To my way of thinking San Diego, CA has the best weather in the world.

Oh come on. I hangout on fifth Ave near Bryant Park all the way down to 34th St. Plenty of hunky guys.... I am sure if you head to chelsea and the village, they are there too ?

I like being inside in the air conditioning. But I enjoy walking around wearing a camisole top and denim shorts, and I love the crazy antics in the parks.
