Hey, if his mother is Jewish, he's as much a Jew as anyone according to Jewish law. For example if you were Conservative or Reform, and probably the Orthodox too, but had hemophilia- I'm fairly sure the rabbinical authorities would let the parents skip the circumcision. And while I don't know of any Reform Jews who haven't circumcised their boys- there are probably some parents somewhere ( probably San Francisco) who wanted to keep their sons 'au naturel'--of course those few boys will be made fun of in the synagogue bathroom. Iif Orthodox- he can only be Jewish if his mother is Jewish. I'm not sure about Conservative- but I thought they had changed it to either parent- and with Reform- the child is considered Jewish if either parent is Jewish and the child identifies/has been brought up Jewish. And while I am back on this thread- is there a reason it's not ending? We have offered several Jewish escorts for the OP. The OP has never responded back.
