While I will remain in business and business is better than ever for me I am no longer going to post on this forum due to the constant lies and attacks on here directed at me. The negativity and the lies are ridiculous and they bring me down and depress me. Thank you to all the nice guys and good clients I have met here. My advice to you is to take a deep breath and take a few days off from the forum. Many of us appreciate your input here and would be sorry to see you go. You are right that there are some unsavory characters on here....but there are lots of decent people also. My own approach is to not play in the sewer with the losers and to focus on the positive folks. Most people just ignore the "pigs". They eventually leave the forum (or are banned) as most folks don't really pay them any mind and they get bored. Part of cyberlife I guess.

 

Take abreak and come back with a different perspective.

Considering I've been here nearly a decade and have only recently cleared the 500 mark, I can attest to the many times of taking a self-imposed time out when I'd had enough. Earlier this year I'd had one of those moments and deleted my entire "friend" list, which wasn't an indication of not liking the guys on the list as much as it was just being pissed off in general.

 

We're not all here to agree with each other, but I appreciate when someone is able to offer a differing opinion and still maintain some respect and sensitivity to the others. I feel the same way when I have to read perpetual touting and conceitedness in most every thread.

 

That's not to put you down because you've certainly bought some value here, but if you ever decide to come back; consider toning it down a bit. Sometimes you UP yourself so much, that in many of your threads no escorts respond because they probably feel intimidated. Which adds to the intimidation already set in place about saying anything on a public forum.

I think the best escorts out there realize that not much business is drummed up from here (the forum that is), therefore there's no merit in being here. They don't come here to impose a greater image over other escorts. I think some posters are so eager to promote and gain business, that we drive away fellow escorts. Integrate some humbleness. Occasionally I'll peek at female boards such as bigdoggie.net and there's so much more camaraderie there. Every post is not a ploy to get business.

 

That said, due to my location I'm well aware there's not much that comes from this. It's just to shoot the shit for the most part. If and when something does come up, it's a bonus. There's enough ads out that get responses (not to mention my blog) that I don't feel the need to monopolize this avenue or get all butt hurt if it doesn't work out.

Well said Nate and I couldn't agree with you more. Often times, it is not what is said but how it is said that makes a huge difference on how comments are perceived and reacted to. Likely a sign of my naivete on things but I always hoped that this forum would be like a gentleman's club where through mutual respect and careful consideration of expressing ideas/beliefs/opinions that there can be healthy disagreements but civility can still be maintained. Unfortunately there are many instances where that ideal is not achieved. Still a worthy goal and I am always optimistic that it can be met.

 

And Mikey, I respect your decision but I do hope you will follow the advice of taking some time and reconsider that decision. In my view, we need you here as the forum needs more, not less, participation by escorts.

I am in agreement. I have learned just to read and move on. Or if I know that there is nothing in a post that is going to be positive then I scroll to the end and mark that I have read it.
