Why not write to a guy who interests you and see how he responds when you suggest the trip? But bear in mind 2 points: you should first have an overnight date with the guy as you'll be spending so much time on the trip together; and then discuss openly what you want from the trip, expect from the guy on a nightly basis and how much free time he'll have each day.

Not to diss Citylaw—but I can't imagine anything more horrible than going on a trip to Rome, being a bottom and trying to somehow finagle the issues inherent with that, and getting paid significantly less than I probably would to stay at home and see clients here. All of my international travel has been business related where a spouse/partner/companion was not appropriate, so my suggestion is based purely off of what I would do.

 

I would not hire an unknown escort for an overseas trip. I would be too concerned about not enjoying his company and being stuck with a travel companion for several days. My personal preference would be hire a local guy (or series of guys) to show me local spots that might be missed otherwise.

Thank you for all of the input. I've already made plans with (met for a drink last evening) a pretty well reviewed escort on here. I've taken a few things from these comments:

 

1. Many assumed that I was a horrendous looking client, only to be fucked for top dollar.

2. A week in Italy is expensive. Some are assuming that these guys are booked solid with overnights and would not see a free trip to Europe as a huge plus. Rounding the corner and bedding down with a stranger in your home town at his mediocre apartment is worth more, in my opinion, than a luxury hotel, dinners out and spa treatments throughout a 24 hour period in Italy. On this premise, I offered a different deal. Clearly this deal would not appeal to everyone. I suppose if I were 75, in a wheelchair and expected head as well as chair pushing, the deal would be harder to strike.

3. I'm not staying at the Holiday Inn, and certainly don't require round the clock fucking.

4. JT, why would you assume that a larger number of 21-25 year old guys would be without passports? In my experience, many of the younger escorts have been to a number of places, often paid for by the likes of "us" on this board. You are very wrong here.

5. I would never go ANYWHERE other than my bed without meeting and feeling out my companion for a bit. I would also never take anyone with me that didn't insist on the same. Roundtrip ticket is handed to my escort BEFORE we take off, as well as upfront cash. There has to be trust on both ends. That's why I use this board as a reference.

6. You would be surprised how many offers I received. Some more credible than others.
