Antonio actually proved that you can dance on the Gaiety stage. He always got hard. He always looked good each time he appeared. He was nice and sweet too! He gets my vote!

(Otherwise there is no doubt that Mr. Gaiety is Cooper himself!)

My vote would have to go to Dominic. He has the looks, personality and of course the amazing muscles. I've always been a big TJ fan, but I think this year his friend Dominic has easily surpassed him in both muscle and stage presence. During his first song Dominic dances/struts with a ton of energy and during the second number he makes amazing connections with the ringside patrons. Too bad he's not more of a regular at the Gaiety. Honorable mention to Jason Adonis (for pretty-boy muscle), Gabriel (best newcomer) and Danik (we all know what his best feature is!!!)

I don't have much experience this year at the Gaiety. But, the guy that I feel needs to be mentioned was Scott/Clark/Calvin who danced the first weekend in December.

Scott incorporated martial arts and gynastics into his routine. I was very impressed with his flips and splits. I felt he tried to give the guys in the audience a good show while personally acknowledging each major or minor tipper. In the lounge he was very approachable and easy to talk with.

I did miss his first dance set. x( I heard that he didn't quite understand all the rules and actually left a white "deposit" on the stage. :9

>OK Gaiety goers, it's that time of the year to nominate your

>favorite G-man for the title of "MR. GAIETY of 2003".

I have a tie. Louis from Montreal and Zack. Louis was a whirling dervish on stage and just an overall nice fellow. Very handsome and very fun.

Zack for my own obvious reasons as posted in the "this week's lineup" thread.

I would also like to nominate the Halloween decorations as the best Apollo Lounge Decorations as the Christmas/Holiday decorations look like something out of Dolly-Wood. I expected a Dixie Chick or Burl Ives to come out from the corner and sing something in an all white unatard.

A lot of great choices have been listed here! I would have to nominate Pilot Wing Dave from Montreal! He is absolutely gorgeous, has an incredible physique, puts on a great show, and has a friendly personality!

Since Cooper and I really do have different tastes when it comes to dancers it's surprising we would both pick the same guy.

4. SCOTT/CLARK 1 vote

5. BEN VERSACE 1 vote

BEN VERSACE Mr. Gaiety 2003 Nomination

>There is still time to nominate and cast your "secret" ballot

>for your favorite G-man of the year. Just looking at these names >makes for a stellar lineup.

Big Surprise But My Choice Would be: BEN VERSACE. The following is my unbiased opinion:

Ben is "Mr Entertainment". Puts on a creative and fun show each appearance including his entrance costumes and movements to the 2 songs. He has a nice smile, beautiful eyes, great eye contact with audience, handsome face, nice defined tight body, beautiful dick, wonderful bubble butt, fun to talk to in the lounge, thanks all the tippers while looking at them with a thankyou and smile, comic aspects to his performance.

Ben gets very interactive with the audience. He also was one of the first to get nude by the end of his first song. He is always rock hard during his second song. He is also a sweet guy, with a good and fun (almost a kid at heart) personality and a very good and caring person.

He is a model and aspiring actor. He likes to travel and see new places. :) He likes to snorkle and other water activities and likes to go to dance clubs.

Also last Friday night he survived intact the famous Cooper "questioning" while at Stellas Bar.

He is a courageous person who got brutally assaulted in early 2002 outside a gay club in Fayetteville, NC while defending a gay friend. He recovered from the coma and worked hard to overcome the physical effects of the attack and coma. He had a triumphant return to the Gaiety about 3 months after the attack.

OK- maybe my opinion above may be slightly biased.

If there were the following categories to this poll I would nominate the following Gaiety patrons:

Lucky- for Gaiety patron you would most want to see dance at the Gaiety :p

Cooper- for Mr. NYC chapter of Hooville ambassador and advisor to posters visiting the Gaiety and Stellas for the first time as well as being the fab Gaiety official reviewer

VDN and Foxy (tie) for their witty and funny reviews and descriptions of their experiences (who could ever forget VDN's August blackout post)

Victor cause I like men who scare others.

His balls smell so nice we even discussed bottling the scent in a interesting pump spritzer and marketing it.:9

OH MY! What controversy! How very "Robert's Rules of Order" of you! Am I forced to pick just one? You know I have ADHD. Fine! I rescind my 1/2 vote for Zack and make my whole vote for Louie. I decided the one who I have the most pictures of on my Zip Disk should get the whole vote.

I hate to conform.

I wish I could! The SMELL of that escort's FARTS still haunt me today! That was the most expensive Dutch Oven I ever purchased. I now travel to NYC with a very long candle and it isn't for anal amusement.

Hello

My vote is for Ben Versace, as well. No one puts as much thought and effort into a stage set like Ben....add his good looks, personality, sense of humour, creativity, music & costume choice, etc...you have the winning package. I also heard how he courageously stuck up for his friend in that terrible incident and how he miraculously survived and recovered from near death. He's truly one of a kind.

Honorable mentions to Sexy Danik, Trevor, and Rene.

Ah Memories.

During my stay in New York City last February, I made my first, second and last trips to the G Spot. During those cultural art excursions, there was only one who tickled 'lil jack's fancy. One guy who's piercing blue eyes and stunning smile made 'lil jack stand up and take notice. But Lucky never responded to my art appreciation overtures.

Oh!, you wanted Dancers?

Well, using the same criteria as listed about Mr. Lucky, 'lil jack's vote goes to Luc. Since I don't want to break up the vote, I will not vote, only Lil jack. BTW, my vote was heavily solicited and I think some rules need to be put into place about electioneering within a certain proximity of the polling place.

Had a ball in NYC, and hope to visit again someday. Have a great new year guys.
