Travis #2 strikes again, or is it College Farm Jock??? Another bad review and a typical ridiculous response. KY-TOP gets the blame but I just don't see how ANYONE could believe anything of this dilusional response. I would believe this guy needs to seek professional help. Sorry KY that you have to take the brunt of the rantings of this guy.

I don't know Travis #2 or any of the guys who have reviewed him. As I read Travis' response, however, I thought that he's doing a far better job at scaring away potential clients than any negative review ever could.

Someone is not telling the truth, and the only way to resolve it for a brave soul who has met, or knows this kid, to step forward and tell us once and for all whose right. I am guessing that KY is right on, but who knows, maybe not.

Well, I for one believe KYTop's review, since he has consistently written what seem to me to be fair reviews. There are a number of clients out there who enjoy writing bad reviews, but KYTop isn't one of them. And as for the most recent review, and Travis' intemperate response - Whew! The response will do more to scare away clients, I am afraid, than a bad review.

It was my impression that's exactly what KY did. Many of us have met KY and can vouch for the fact that he seems to be a very nice, entirely reasonable guy. He purposely hired "Travis" to see what was what and reported back with a review and multiple posts here in the Message Center.

 

It that's not clear enough for someone, they can do what the most reviewer did and go hire "Travis". Why someone would want to spend a couple of hundred dollars to prove to themself that this poor escort is using old or otherwise faked pictures to attract clients that he couldn't attract without those pictures is beyond me. But, evidently, there are enough people in NYC who are willing to hire "Travis" for him to stay in business as an escort.

I think that if you look at KY-TOPS record and he went through a period of a lot of escorts that he has a very accurate reporting of them. Travis on the other hand sounds full of hate. Oh well. That has happened already. I've met KY-TOP and know him to be a gentleman and honest reviewer. Plus, he has great taste in men! Many of his reviews overlap with mine giving me another reality check. His reports have always completely agreed with my own impressions.

 

I take what he's written as the truth.

 

Sadly, as your post proves, people don't believe what they read even when it comes from a trusted source. How many years did we read reviews of people like Anthony Holloway that boiled down to ripping off clients? Guys don't read. Kirk? Guys don't read. It appears Travis is in the same category.

 

The fact that guys won't read (or believe) bad review after bad review, and figure it'll be OK because they're "special" somehow, is exactly why guys like Travis can stay in business as long as they can. Plus, there are many more active clients than there are visitors to this site. I suspect the reports we see here are the tip of the iceberg.

 

It's the same reason e-mail viruses and phishing scams proliferate. People can be warned time and time again not to open unknown attachments but they still do it.

Anyway, today's reviewer "jim" is noviceny, no? He admitted to going to check out Travis despite KY's warnings and used much of the same language to describe the fiasco on a previous thread.

 

Now, do we want to consider that KY_TOP and noviceny are two different personalities trapped in the same body?!?

WOW, how did I get drug back into this, thought my Travis comments were over. The new review is obviously not mine and fortunately I also have only one name here in the message center. Geez, I even post reviews and in the Message Center under the same name.

 

For the record, Back in November, Hooboy thought Travis might be getting a bum rap and wanted someone to check him out. I have written over 50 reviews. If my memory serves me correctly, only 3 are negative and 1 a no show. I was in NYC at the time and told Hooboy BEFORE I hired Travis that I would hire him and send a report back to Hooboy. My Review on Travis was my report to Hooboy. So if I was to create a new name for the Message Center or for reviews it would probably be Guinea Pig. Wish Travis all the luck in the World, he needs it.

 

PS: Thanks for all the supporting comments from the guys I have met here during my Travels and Chuck I'll be back in DC in a few weeks. Lunch or Dinner is on me if you can make it into the City.

You can put me on the list of people who have met (and vacationed) with KyTop. What has already been said about his character and warm personality is all true but only scratches the surface of this good man.

Can be avoided..IF I was the curious type, The first thing I would ask, is the 5 min window for a Yay or Nay upon meeting him! Here's another vote of support for KyTop's integrity. I've met the man a couple of times, and, of course, read his comments here all the time. He's about the best member of this site.

 

The very first time I met him, he was with his boyfriend (the "x-escort" that Travis claims as not existing). They were obviously very much into each other. And I can personally vouch that the BF had been an escort since I had hired him after having read one of KY's raving posts about him soon after they got together for the first time.

When I search for potential escorts, I always have trusted the judgment of a few well-respected reviews who had similar tastes. I always trusted KY_Top's reviews.

 

Then I met KY_Top and that only confirmed that he's someone who is honest.

 

The pictures of Travis #2 are exactly what I like in an escort. But his responses do him more harm than the reviews. Thank goodness he's dumb enough to respond and we can judge for ourselves what he's like.

I don't know KY Top personally and have never met him. But I followed the Travis saga for quite some time and read all of KY's other posted reviews. I couldn't think of any reason why I should doubt his word, and clearly, he wasn't the first and only one to have some "vision problems" with Travis.

 

Two thoughts come to mind.....one, how you deal with an anonymous person says a lot about your character, and two, you can judge a man's integrity by how he deals with adversity--everyone can smile when things are going well.

 

The fact that many posters have come to KY's defense is admirable and very convincing. The fact that Travis posted the response he did clearly indicates to me that this is a troubled, perhaps even delusional, lad.

 

Its been said before, but I'll say it again......you can REALLY judge some escorts' worth by reading the responses they post to less than stellar reviews.

 

Two other thoughts come to mind.....someone should encapsulate this entire thread and send it to Travis; it would probably mean more coming from someone he has already been with. Two, I would love to see both Travis and Brian from Philly (jockboy4you2) get together some time and THEN review each other. DAMN, I'd even donate some money to make that encounter happen. That review, ripe with fiction and full of fantasy, would be eye-opening, to say the least.

 

I am so grateful that I am NOT the curious for hire type.

I have been posting reviews on this web site for almost two years (including one for Travis#2) and have been with him several times. I can only speak of my own experiences with Travis which have been very positive. In fact he is one of my favorite escorts and I look forward to our times together. However I do respect the points of view of others who have contrary opinions of him. In some respects he is own worst enemy because the replies he posts are not very-well written to say the least. I plan to tell him this the next time we are together which will be very soon.
