Self-awareness may simply mean noticing what we’ve inherited before letting it steer us. Mayhaps the missing link between nature / nurture and customer loyalty is the relationship scripts we bring to a commercial arrangement. Edited August 28 by SirBillybob

He checks every box and even boxes I didn’t know I had. He’s local as well. I have contacts in multiple cities and am thrilled I found a local guy that I really enjoy and can see often. I REALLY like this new guy and don’t feel the need to see anyone else. I want to establish a regular thing with him. He meets all my expectations, so why bother looking for anyone else? I think the experience will be even better the more we get to know each other. Has anyone tried this before? Basically committing to one provider? How has that worked out? Just wanted to update the folks who provided some sage advice on this. I did see this provider a second time and the experience was not as magical as the first. Still a great time, and I’ll see him again, but I am not AS smitten as I was the first time. He will be one of my regulars but not my only one. Thanks for all the thoughtful input! And that other one can be in place of or in addition to this one. It doesn't actually have to be a "commitment". Just do what ever you want and can afford to do in the moment. Keep it simple, it doesn't have to be "a thing". Exactly. This is how to start. Then see where it goes. It can become a long term arrangement after a period of time. Do not force anything.
