Exploritor Posted Tuesday at 05:02 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:02 PM I keep coming back here, and looking to see who to try next. But then I think, "You already really like___." And then I wonder why I'm looking for someone new. Do you have ONE guy? Do you constantly find new guys? Do you have a core rotation, where you try someone new here and there?
NYClooking Posted Tuesday at 05:05 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:05 PM I think there’s an excitement in the new - the anxiety, the allure, the not knowing. But I keep going back to familiar providers mostly because 1. the ones who made me feel like they enjoyed it too are top of the roster and 2. some of the new guys pricing has gotten out of whack for me (yesterday a provider quoted $500 for a 50 min strictly therapeutic massage). Sometimes consistency beats excitement. AviationBear, Wanderoz, BigNoiseDallas and 8 others 3 6 2

jeezifonly Posted Tuesday at 05:44 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:44 PM The primary goal for me in booking a massage is the massage. Curiosity leads one to try new providers, but if I know that my body needs some work, I have three in my region who have the training, talent and experience that suit me. If I want full service provided, I will book an escort based only on pics (and recs here)
jmichaeliii Posted Tuesday at 05:58 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:58 PM I have a rotation of 3 guys locally, but I like to sample if someone of interest comes along. I also try and sample someone new anytime I travel for work. I am usually in the LA area so there are a lot of samples to test! Exploritor, Johnrom and Wanderoz 1 2

LOL. $500 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 (Unless you were inquiring at the Four Seasons Grand Hotel du Cap-Ferrat Spa with a day pass and lunch included, something was lost in translation.). Wanderoz 1
moreofthat Posted Tuesday at 06:46 PM Posted Tuesday at 06:46 PM I have two local, affordable, easy-to-schedule guys who I know find me attractive (or at least fun to work on), give great therapeutic massage with consistent and enjoyable extras. Recently found two more local guys who I'm more attracted to, the extras go a little further, still a good therapeutic base, but definitely more money. But variety is the spice of life, and it's fun to try out a visitor or sample the locals in a new place when visiting! Exploritor and Redwine56 1 1
urbanfetish Posted Tuesday at 09:25 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:25 PM I have learned to not rely solely on one masseur. When they decide to move, retire, etc., then I'm left scrambling to find a new masseur. I tend to rotate between 2 or 3 regulars and I still try new masseurs on occasion. + JamesB, Nightowl, Exploritor and 1 other 2 2
Bobozn Posted Tuesday at 09:32 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:32 PM I have like 3 masseurs in rotation depending on my mood and 1 primary within the 3. I check every now and then if there's a new masseur in the area or visiting from out of town with good reviews. Exploritor 1
BigDMike Posted Tuesday at 09:56 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:56 PM Variety is the spice of life. I usually mix it up....especially when I'm traveling for work + glutes, Exploritor, Petris Sage and 1 other 3 1
Petris Sage Posted yesterday at 01:27 AM Posted yesterday at 01:27 AM (edited) It depends on what I'm looking for. If it's therapeutic deep tissue, I prefer to find one masseur and stick with him. If it's erotic fun, I like to explore the new. I've been going through the masseurs at ecstacy hands in Tokyo. They're all sexy and have smooth bodies. There are two that I wanted to repeat my time with, (and one who made me so horny that I actually bottomed for him, which I NEVER do.) On my third time with him, though, I was wondering what it would be like to get massaged by another of their boys. So for sensual arousal and male sexual intimacy, I prefer variety. FLJock Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Unfortunately, I have this obsession with lists, once I make them I have to complete them. I have a Wish List of MF providers I would like to experience, it has 80 providers in my area, of which I have seen 73. The other 7 aren't as urgent and I'm willing to wait. The absolute worst for me is when someone from the list, especially one that has been on it for a while stops advertising and I missed out. FOMO is real. There was a provider from MIA that I just didn't drive down to see after years on being listed, and now he's gone and I regret it so much. There are a few locals that are excellent I mean to go back to and keep as a regular, but then someone from my list visits and well... jeffla, Exploritor and BigNoiseDallas 2 1

jeffla Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I usually have about three in my rotation at a time. But when I find someone I really like, I tend to see them a LOT in the next few months. Then they move down the rotation when someone else new and exciting moves on top. Every now and then, I'll go back to someone I hadn't seen in six months, and the excitement is back there and they're back in rotation. Plus I have a couple friends on this site where we're all really in sync with each other. So if someone in that small trusted group tells me I must try someone, I might make an exception and try someone off-list at least once just to see what all the excitement is about. Exploritor 1
ketut Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago When I lived on the east and west coasts I had 3 in each location that I would rotate. Now that I live in the midwest I see one regular who gives and incredible deep tissue massage and I have a back up. The back up has another job so between our schedules its incredibly difficult to schedule. The market I live in is second tier and the pickings aren't great. When visitors come through some of them think they can charge coastal prices which I'm unwilling to pay based on what's available locally. Redwine56, Exploritor and BigNoiseDallas 3
BigNoiseDallas Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I've had 2-3 in rotation at multiple points in my massage days, but they either found full-time work, retired, or left Dallas, so I've had to adjust. It seems like I've seen a different masseur every month for about a year and wasn't impressed with any of them. I finally found a local guy that I like; I've seen him a couple of times, and he's reasonably priced (he has a full-time job in a healthcare-related field and doesn't charge exorbitant prices). However, he's not my preferred physical type: he has a solid build, but he's pretty smooth and in his 30s, and I like 'em more mature and hairy -- but his skills and pricing are great, so I'll probably see him again. I also like to try visiting masseurs. That's been a very mixed bag -- some good providers, some average ones, and a couple who were terrible, but I keep trying!

Lohengrin1979 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Fully ready for judgment on this but I keep a spreadsheet of masseurs I’ve seen. I’ve established a rubric for scoring them and the top two scorers are my regulars. When I try someone new and they score high on their initial session, I slot them in and hire them a couple more time for consistency. If they consistently deliver at that the high score, they replace whichever of the top two may have been lower than their score. not to say I discard the lower scoring therapists. I just don’t hire them unless my top two are busy/out of town, etc. jeffla 1
