Is $380 too expensive for an erotic 90-minutes massage session that includes some cuddling (and providing oral) in places like Boston, D. C. and San Francisco in 2026? What are your thoughts? I ask my this question because I'm trying to hire.

If provider has a killer physique and looks I'm finding requests for 300/hr pretty frequent (i rarely partake in anything over 200 for massage).     A 90 min session could then go for 380.

There is no standard rate. Depending on what you’re looking for in the massage, I’ve seen rates under 200 and some over it. Your best bet is to look at the masseur’s reviews on rentmasseur for a particular provider. (Especially if the guy doesn’t show his rates.) The client reviews typically show the rates, time spent, and what type of massage was given. Or… just contact a masseur you’re interested in and ask his rates.

Usually a strictly therapeutic massage will be less than something sensual/erotic. You’ll occasionally run into someone who will charge the same rate for either.

Steep, $300 is reasonable with extras.

I thought the "extras" were escort territory? Why not hiring an escort if you truly want sex? I'm so confused. Also, $300 for 90 minutes? This is in the USA.

The least for a sensual I've seen in the USA is $180 for an in-call. In New York , I've seen some charging $250 and even $300 for the same.  Outcalls tend to be at least $50 more or something like that.  This is for a session of 60 minutes. 90-minutes are usually 40%-50% more of what a 60 minutes session costs. I do not think $380 for 90 minutes is "steep" if oral is included. Oral to me is escort services. A lot of people hiring masseurs expect sex for the price of a sensual massage because they are just cheap. Europeans and Canadians are used to pay less. Of course they will find Americans prices expensive.

In New York City, I see 2 regular masseurs.  One charges $135/hr outcall (works in Manhattan, is available for massage in the evenings after work).  The other changes $260/90 minutes and hosts in Chelsea.  Both are nude with fantastic bodies.  Both offer FANTASTIC deep massages.

I won't pay $200/hr for massage.  For that price or higher, I'll just make the jump to hiring an escort.

There are so few DC-based masseurs who merit the prices they charge, whatever they charge.

Well, that makes you a cheap client honestly. In 2026, $200-$225 should be around the standard for an outcall sensual or erotic in expensive American cities. It doesn't matter if you get cheaper masseurs than that before. Just because those charged you less than others, doesn't mean the rest should charge the same.

I try to avoid cheap clients at all costs. Those tend to be the most difficult to work with, overly entitled and everything. Not only that many pretend to get away for escort/sexual services for a lower rates, some tend to be hostile and in ocassions at rapey levels.

If you don't like the price, just don't freaking hire. I will never understand some of these cheap individuals. I'm not going to get nude in the same room of a stranger to sweat my ass off to provide a massage that will only cost $140 an hour. I did once and regretted it. Having that type of intimancy is not for everyone.

Au contraire.
If @Vegas_Millennial can find masseurs in NYC (of all places), with great bodies that perform in the nude and provide deep, satisfying massages at those quoted rates, he isn't being "cheap".  He is being very wise and judicious with his funds.
He is a client after Bozo's own heart ❤️ who probably did his homework. Why pay twice as much to someone else for the same or possibly inferior services?
@Vegas_Millennial has Bozo's admiration. Kudos to him!

Providers set their own rates and no one is entitled to a session they will not pay for. That part is fair. What is less fair is treating a budget as a character flaw. Declining $200 an hour for a massage does not make someone cheap, entitled or unsafe. It means they have a ceiling and said so plainly.

There is also a difference between a sensual massage and escort work. @Vegas_Millennial was stating a price preference, not asking anyone to undercut their rate or to offer something they do not provide. Equating that with “cheap clients” who become hostile is a wide brush.

You’re free to decline anyone who isn’t willing to meet your price. That’s the simplest solution. The labels, assumptions about motives and warnings just add heat without adding much light.

I know the good service I provide and how I look like... Someone who often complains and is not willing to pay the rate within the lines of what is considered the "standard" is cheap in my book.  On another note, I'm not a fan of this Vegas_Millennial font because of his trolling antics against me on here. But that's unrelated to what we are discussing.

At the end, hiring an erotic masseur or an escort shouldn't a budget matter. It's totally fine if you try to save a few bucks when hiring. But insisting or getting mad at someone who charges what is considered close to the standard is tacky and over the top. Just move on and don't get upset that someone is charging what you can't pay for.

Also, I did not say all "cheap" clients were hostile. I said some of them are and that's been my experience as a masseur. The more pushy the client is to try to get a service for a lower price, the higher the chances you get hired by a hostile and aggressive person who is trying to get free extras. Pushy and whiny clients is what I consider cheap.

We have pictures in 2026. If you decided to browse RM and hire someone based on the looks there, is because you liked what you saw. Otherwise, you would have moved to the next profile...  It's why these definitions like "fantastic", "great bodies", "better physique than others" are all relative. What is considered "great" by someone, might not be for you. A client seeking for beefy muscular provider might not be into the leanest physique some others would consider a 10 and so on. Vast majority of those contacting me do it likely because they were into my looks. It's not that complicated.

"We have pictures in 2026" What does that mean?
If you have an ad, you really should post the link so we can judge for ourselves. Or at least post photos. It will likely increase your business.

Bozo wants to help you redeem yourself after you dug yourself into a hole by calling a highly respected member of the COM community "cheap".

In your original post you asked whether $380 is too much for a 90-minute erotic massage. How can we possibly reply intelligently unless we know a little something about you? Body? Face? Age? etc.

I don't need to post anything. You seem defensive by my statement. My position remains unchanged.

And that member you called "respected" has trolled me several time. But this is not about him vs. me. Did you see my badge by any chance?

This is the second time you ask for my profile. I'm not providing my personal info with you or anyone on here unless I know them in person. I've been on this site for years (hence my rank is VETERAN) and know the nature of some fonts.

And I think you know exactly what I meant by "we have pictures in 2026". You don't think someone is worth the price? Move to the next profile. It's not that complicated.

In case my statement above needs clarification:  For under $200/hr in the US, I only expect a massage.  I don't hire masseurs expecting to get sex.  I won't pay over $200/hr for a massage just to play the "will he/won't he" guessing game for sensual extras.

If I'm in the mood for paid sex, I'll hire an escort and pay his escort rate.

My limit of less than $200/hr for a massage applies when I visit DC as well (the topic of this thread).

A REGULAR massage in the US is about 80 bucks for 50 minutes. For 200, there should be mutual touch and HE.

For a regular massage if the masseur is not naked (no sex nor happy ending involved), I would think under $200 is not bad for an in-call.

The "will he/won't he" guess is part of the fantasy for many clients. But if I know I won't get naked, I would never charge more than $200 for a 60-minutes session.

Yup, $80 bucks for a regular massage done by anyone though. The $80 rate will not guarantee you to have someone "hot" to rub you all over. Now add up other things like the person performing it being naked, the one way touching, some worshipping, mutual touching and HE. Outcalls also add up extra charge.

That's more like an escort rate although some in big cities charge more

For 1 hour $300-350 is still the standard for B and C-list cities. For A-list cities like New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, etc. is more like $350-$400 in 2026.
