Luv2play Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I’ve never understood why America observes this day to remember veterans. Most of the Commonwealth countries observe Nov. 11 th as Remembrance Day. That was the day of the armistice which ended the Great War or WWI as we now know it.

Because America revolted against that rat bastard, King George III, and is celebrating its 250th year of independence this year. Why should America follow Britain's lead when America was the one that saved Britain's bacon in both world wars? Britain should be following America's lead and move its Remembrance Day to coincide with America's Memorial Day and create an equivalent to America's Veterans Day in November.
