By so-so, Gird your loins! Tenderloin? Or low, lower Nob Hill so-so?  It's the later, probably harmless.  Going into a building in the former late a night would make me pause.  Though I would perfectly safe walking around in the Tenderloin during the daytime.  Just have to be aware of your surroundings.

OT:  Yes, quiet familiar with that corner.  I actually eat at Mong Thu Cafe once a month just around the corner.  One of the better hole in the wall Vietnamese food places.  Cash only, but reasonably priced.   I've been there before they open at 7am before the sidewalks are hosed down and never felt unsafe.  The ladies that run the place can be more scary than any of the unhoused folks if they think you're being rude to them.  Always chuckle at how they could be their Soup Nazi reality show.   Plenty of hidden gem food places in that neighborhood.

I met him previously, he had a bit of an attitude problem, maybe he's matured but be at your own risk. He's not 22, most likely 26 or 27. Given he's changed his username three times it's a bit of a red flag.

Had a meet setup.  He decided to change the terms agreed upon earlier that day.  Said demand from clients was too high.  I said no since we had already agreed to things.  I was thinking with the head on my shoulders.  Don't like it when people don't keep their word.  Starts things off on the wrong foot.  What else could change?  He said my loss that I was cheap and couldn't afford him.  😆  Bullet dodged.

Yeah that's a serious strike against - good on you for making the right call, bad on him for being unprofessional. I agree completely - if people don't keep their word about something, then they might not keep it about anything.
