Henson Posted Friday at 01:21 AM Posted Friday at 01:21 AM Hi gents. I tried searching around but came up empty. I have an 8 hour layover @ LAX coming up soon. Can anyone recommend a good provider that’s a *reasonable* cab/uber ride from the airport? Thanks in advance!
+ GD85 Posted Friday at 01:29 AM Posted Friday at 01:29 AM I will let others chime in if they know providers near LAX… but I wanted to note that 8 hours is plenty of time to rent a car and drive in to WeHo or other areas that are more ripe with providers. You can likely rent a car (if you search for deals or have any corporate discount) for less than ubering back and forth to somewhere closer to the airport for lesser massage. Just my $.02. BigDMike Posted Friday at 03:58 AM Posted Friday at 03:58 AM Agreed with @GD85 you are plenty close to West Hollywood and I'd guess there's well over 100+ providers around there you can utilize. If you wanted a spa, you can head a little farther east on the 10 to check out the K Spas in the area that offer a relaxing environment and discrete connections

+ azdr0710 Posted Friday at 10:27 PM Posted Friday at 10:27 PM (edited) just keep an eye on that clock/watch!......traffic (at LAX and beyond), rental car lines if you rent (to pickup AND return) plus the shuttle bus, TSA lines plus more if international connection...... Whippoorwill Posted Saturday at 12:11 AM Posted Saturday at 12:11 AM If its important that you make your next flight, I would get a hotel room at the airport and import a masseur who is well reviewed on this site. Then you can relax and spend whatever time you and your man arrange without the traffic anxiety. MikeBiDude, Henson, PaulM and 4 others 5 1 1

Yes, but 8 hours… lol. It’s true you have to have a plan, but with good planning it’s easily doable. Having done this with long layovers at LAX, JFK, HND, TPE, HKG… 🤣 + azdr0710 and Exploritor 2
Henson Posted Saturday at 04:46 PM Author Posted Saturday at 04:46 PM Thanks for all the advice! I could get a rental car for a very reasonable price, I was just a bit concerned about the time. LAX traffic is always a complete nightmare. I’m going to look into the providers suggested and also the hotel option. + GD85 1
+ bencleve29 Posted Saturday at 04:59 PM Posted Saturday at 04:59 PM Depending on timing of your layover - dayuse could be a good option for a room during the day. Peter Eater and PaulM 2

mtaabq Posted Saturday at 06:50 PM Posted Saturday at 06:50 PM Renting a car means getting on a shuttle, going to the rental facility, waiting in line and suffering through the up-sell. (Unless you have status; then it might be straight to your car.) Depending upon which terminal and what day of the week a cab or Uber/Lyft might be easier and more time-efficient. (Use the LAX-it lot adjacent to Terminal 1.) Dayuse is also a possibility; there are hundreds and hundreds of hotel rooms at numerous properties just east of Terminal 1, some of which you can almost walk to. My goal is to offer suggestions to maximize your time with a provider. WeHo is not terribly far (in LA distances) from LAX. Remember you gotta get back (traffic!) and get through security. Plan ahead, leave a little room for error or the unexpected, and you’ll have a great time! Peter Eater, + GD85 and + azdr0710 2 1
