Johnsons Fort Lauderdale (Wilton Manors)

Excuse me for starting a new Johnsons thread; but, all of the existing threads dedicated solely to the Ft Lauderdale/Wilton Manors location have expired.

I spent Christmas evening at Johnsons Ft Lauderdale.  It was a fantastic time! 

I entered just before 8pm, and was a little apprehensive about the new ownership and rumored changes.  Except for one minor hiccup (they were low on ice early in the evening; and, it was humorous watching the several older owners quibble about who is going to run to 7/11 to get more ice), everything seemed to operate as normal before Matt's (the former owner) departure.  The drinks are still lower priced than any other gay bar on Wilton Drive.  That alone is reason to visit if in the area.

The sign displaying each woman must be accompanied by a man was still prominently displayed, and it was much appreciated.

Being a Thursday and Christmas, the club was very slow.  However, the 20/80 rule applies.  Just like 20% of the pods produce 80% of the peas, so to does 20% of the customers generate 80% of the income.  The club on Christmas was frequented mostly by its regular, established, clientele who tipped prominently and the lap dance area was always full... Despite the tables being mostly empty.  Only 1 female was present all night; and, she behaved herself and made no loud squealing noises and tipped the dances and left before too long.

There was a mix of white and latin men, and one Asian man.  Several of the dancers recognized me from my last visit months ago.  I had especially fun time with Jackson from Colorado and Calvin from Bogata, Columbia.  I had private dances with about 5 of the dancers, and only 1 (John... Not to be confused with Johnny) tried to claim he danced for 5 songs instead of 2.  Thankfully, Johnsons does a great job of announcing when each and every song starts, so I knew it was only 2 songs.

It was the 2nd best Christmas Day of my life (the first was sex on the top deck of a cruis ship Christmas night; but, that's another story).  We'll see if LeBoy can steel my away tomorrow night 😊

Is the section of dancers necessarily greater on weekends than during the week? I’m planning to stop by, but if the hottest dancers like those mentioned in previous threads (maybe many drive up from Miami?) are available only on weekends I’ll plan my visit for a Friday or Saturday.

Any advantages going during the week? Less overcrowding? Greater chance for a dancer to be available for a lap dance? 

Regardless of day of the week, what time of night do things really pick up? I’d hate to arrive at 10pm, for example, if it’s half empty at that hour.

Answers: Yes, Yes, Yes

Just as you hypothesized, there will be more dancers on a Friday or Saturday than on a weeknight.  However, the ratio of dancers to patrons is far better on a weeknight.  A dancer is willing to spend more time chatting with a patron on the sofa or at the bar without payment prior to a private dance than he would on a busy weekend.  Plus, if you drive, parking is more readily available on a weeknight.

One minor difference from my last visit a year ago:  A bartender at Johnsons Wilton Manors said they hadn't done Wednesday Stripper Bingo since the new ownership about a month ago.  It's minor; but, boy did I love drawing Bingo balls from the underwear of the men on stage throughout the night.  Everything else appears business as usual.

Spoiler alert:  I like Johnsons better.

After having left LeBoy and Ubered back to Johnsons... Within minutes of my arrival dancers were greeting me and asking me about my day.  Johnsons is just a class act.

I'm back at Johnsons on Saturday at 11:30pm.  Parking lot is packed and closed to new customers... So you're out of luck if you need parking and arriving this time of night. 

An advantage of coming on Saturday evenings:  the bartenders are shirtless.  These same bartenders weren't shirtless early today for happy hour or on Thursday night. 

There are 4 dancers on stage at time, instead of the 2-3 dancers on stage on Thursday.  However, quantity doesn't equal quality.  The dancers I find most attractive were also working here Thursday.

Thankfully, I made an impression ($$) on a few of the dancers Thursday night; so, these same dancers stop by and spend time with me as they make their rounds.  However, they move on to other patrons pretty quickly; because, it's Saturday and they gotta make their big money tonight.

Downside:  the main stage room is standing room only.   I don't know about the rest of you; but, I like to sit in comfort while I sip my drink and watch sexy men perform on stage.   I even had to wait in line to use a urinal.   This is why I prefer to visit mid-week.

I walked by the private dance area, and witnessed an Eastern European dancer yelling at a customer demanding $400.  "it was 4 songs... But you touched my dick...I don't do that for free!".   So... Be careful to establish report with a dancer before going into private dance, which is much easier to do on a less crowded weeknight.

Welp, this sucks. Johnson's was famous for dancers being honest and straightforward with their rates... no surprises or scams.
