Putting up with the cold - Meggings

I broke out the Meggings (men’s leggings aka compression pants).   As much as I like free balling in sweat pants around the house, it’s definitely warmer with these over the sweats.  

Made a trip outside tolerable when it’s -9F / -23c degrees  windchill

I like the inclusion of a "modesty pad" in the meggings!!.....much like a "modesty panel" on office desks!

Sorry under the sweats they are way too tight to try to go over them.

Yeah, I assumed as much, although it would make a great reality show challenge:  “First contestant to successfully put their leggings on over their sweatpants wins this week’s immunity!”

I scheduled a minor surgery for next month in January mainly because of the cold weather. So I can spend the two weeks of recovery time inside and not have to go outside too much at all. 😅

It reminds me of years ago on a swim club, ages from 6 years old to high school seniors. Someone was making and selling team speedos. The sign listed prices, with a higher price for speedos with a lining and a note that said "Bigger boys will need lining". 😝

I blush that someone would think I'd need a "modesty pad," but I'd get one anyway, and deem it aspirational.

I laughed at the open shallow pocket for your phone, which could easily slip out it would appear, and the zippered pocket for “your valuables”. 

For most people losing your phone would be a greater financial loss than a wallet with even a few hundred dollars in it and some credit cards, which could be cancelled.
