Dick Van Dyke turns 100 years old on December 13th.
How can this site ignore the 100th birthday of someone who has a dyke in their name?

Dick Van Dyke is truly an American comedy legend. With the recent death of Rose Marie, he is the last living star of the eponymous Dick Van Dyke Show (unless the boy is still alive?), which is objectively one of the greatest situation comedies in the history of television.  He also starred in the long running (8 years?) Diagnosis Murder.
He starred in highly successful movies like Bye Bye Birdie (with the flamboyant Paul Lynde), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Mary Poppins - the movie classic co-starring Julie Andrews.
Van Dyke was the winner of a Tony, Grammy, and numerous Emmy's.

Anyone else not particularly care for this episode? I'm a big DVD fan (the actor, not the disc 😂) and I just think the writers could've done something more thoughtful with his

How can you not admire someone who looks so sexy wearing a red nose! Bea surely loved him.

none of which I ever saw other than Shitty Shitty Bang Bang, which was what I came out of the theater singing as a young lad, and which is the only thing I remember about it other than there being some kind of flying car (I think)
