Hide Me VPN Doesn't Work On Rent.Men

I've noticed that if I'm on the Rent.Men version of Rentmen and try to look at the Reviews with Hide Me, it doesn't seem to work. Anyone else have this problem?

I don’t have this problem unless I’ve accidentally navigated to the site before starting the VPN (similar issue with .eu).  You may need to logout, clear your cache, and close the browser before you try again.

I am glad I saw this post. I was using Express VPN. It no longer works with RM. I tried Hide Me. It worked. 👍

For some reason for me, hideme just keeps showing me the login in page where you chose rentmen.eu or rent.men. It doesn't matter which one i pick it just reloads to the same rentmen/rent.men choice

Which browser are you using?  It's been a long time since I tried anything other than Google Chrome with hide.me, but I know that I used to try to get it to work with Firefox and had the same problem you're having.

Same for me! Has always worked on my iPad using Safari, now I just get login paged reloaded over and over.

It's working for me on my edge browser. I copy and paste the link right to the review page of the provider I am interested in. Then that popup does still appear twice but I click the rentmen.eu button both times and then it goes away to reveal:

Using Chrome, and possibly Safari, on my iphone, I've noticed lately on Rentmen.eu that HideMe no longer lets me see the reviews. It will show the review page momentarily like this. 
 

But will then flash to this.

For chrome, go to desktop site, and it will work.

Specifically, I had the same problem as gareth above. By hitting the 3dot menu and selecting desktop site, the page to select rentmen.eu did not vanish and selecting it showed me the written remarks. Hope that helps somebody.

This was on mobile (android).

That’s the same problem that started happening to me on Chrome on my phone. I figured out if you click the “turn on reading mode” option in the browser it will show the text of the reviews (not very clean, but it’s the only way I could get it to work).

Unless maybe you meant use the desktop site on an actual computer. If @likembbbig, that's what you meant, I don't currently have a computer to use for that. All I have is my phone.

I was told by someone smarter than myself to never use Google Chrome for porn. If you do, you're being tracked. I was told a safer site for porn viewing is Firefox. I've been using Firefox ever since.

There is a setting in the Chrome browser (at least on my Android phone) that has the option to Request desktop view or Request mobile view.  The default is mobile view.

There used to be another box under this white box with a few dropdown menus to make some setting changes. It has recently been removed, and since then I haven't been able to use it for reading RM reviews.

The hide.me website has looked the same to me for quite a long time, though I do vaguely recall that there used to be some drop-down menu that's no longer there.

At any rate, I just brought up a few guy's ads and didn't have trouble using hide.me's proxy server to look at their reviews in full.  (I closed Google Chrome between tests to make sure I'd get the prompt to enter Rentmen.eu after pasting in the URL for each guy's ad.)  I'm not sure why this is no longer working for some people here.

Ok I did try that on my iphone. But it made no difference in the way the site looked nor did it help me read the Reviews on HideMe.

There was definitely a box there. You could pick the country of the server you wanted to try if the default (possibly The Netherlands) wasn't working for you.

Actually I just went to HideMe, and the box was still there.

I use TunnelBear. It isn't free, but it aways works. To me, it's a you get what you pay for situation.

PS: After enabling the VPN I open an InPrivate window in Edge and paste in the link to the provider's reviews. Works every time.

Last year I kept having difficulty getting on this site frequently until I realized that it was only rejecting me when I was on a VPN.
