Miscommunication with a spa

I don’t know if it’s my fault or the masseuse whom I had a call with. So I am still hunting for a massage place here in Jersey that has a male therapist and does the “other” stuff too, so I ended up reading google reviews. Further down in jersey I saw a massage place in scotch plains called wellness massage spa. I thought I saw a review from a guy saying a masseur named Joel is good. So I basically called them, based from what I heard I thought she was an asian so I assumed it was an asian lady, I asked if they have a male massage therapist and they said yes, I even clarified it and they said yes. So it was like 44 mins away from me, I drove all the way to that area. And a latina lady probably in her 50s assisted me inside. Their massage place has like blacked out curtains so you cannot see anything from the outside. She said 100 dollars cash only, and I knew there was something sketchy going on. Cash? Lol and there was a shower room for clients. So I said can I shower first? She told me yes. All this interaction and conversation I didn’t think she had an issue with speaking in english or whatever. So I changed into a robe that was inside the room, which btw has sound proof foams sticked to the door, like wtf is going on? Lol and then I went to the shower area, finished showering, and this lady told me to lay down, but before that, she introduced me to another latina lady in her 50s and said they’re both gonna do the massage. I was startled tbh, told them I asked for a “male” massage therapist. And they both are looking at me like they are clueless to what I am saying. So I asked them, do you guys speak english, and they said yes, and before I pulled out my phone for google translate, the other lady said what do you want? I told her a male therapist, a “guy” a “man”, and that’s when she said hombre? I said YES! Lol, long story short, they don’t have a male therapist after I travelled so far, which is fine, but yeah, they returned my money and I tipped them like 10 bucks because I showered basically. They were nice and still apologetic after it. It’s just that it’s hard if you have this language barrier with providers or MTs. Sometimes, it’s hard to also describe or tell them what you really want during a session….

In the US, I imagine no "place" that offers massage will discuss anything about extras on phone. And businesses offering any service meet demand. M4M Massage is not high in demand. At a high-end day spa, there will be male workers on staff, but hankypanky costs them their job.  
 
Can I ask why you don't just contact a listed provider and travel to him? Sounds like his home facility won't be worse than this place, and you can verify him in photos as "hombre"...

This is a common trait of Asian women.  They say yes and tell you one thing but then do whatever they want.  Just look at their driving:  Turn signal on to go one way, but then they go another! 🚗 

Next time, when calling an Oriental spa and a woman answers, ask to speak to a man on the phone.  If she can't provide a man to talk on the phone, then it's not the establishment you're looking for.

I know, a lot of members messaged me about this and I answered this one already thru comments, it gives the sense of thrill or excitement of finding a male massage therapist in a spa vs directly hiring from rentmasseur or rent men. Believe me, for the past month, I’ve tried one from each app or site, and it’s not the same feeling for me. It also doesn’t help that both of those that I tried are like money boys, just in it for the pay and no effort towards the “job”. But yeah, going to massage parlors are like reminiscent of my country. Plenty of what they call “men spas” here. And some are 24 hrs. It’s the thrill of getting raided by the police ..KIDDING! In my country, sensual/semi erotic massage is like the new trend for each m4m spas and then you can mingle with co clients after in the wet area/ steam or sauna.

They are actually Latinas. But they were polite and so nice, still smiling even if I left with my money refunded. If it’s any asian woman, I think they would fight for the no refund policy stuff. And I’m and asian so don’t come for me in the comments lol
