My interaction with this particular provider left me with an extremely sour taste in my mouth.  I contacted him when he was working in Fort Lauderdale and wanted to set up an appointment while I was in town visiting.  He requested a deposit which I politely declined.  He then texted me a screenshot from Mr. Number which indicated I had been a no-show twice with some other escort.  I have never been a no-show with an escort but he didn’t want to hear my side of the story even though the screenshot also stated I had left 24 Rentmen reviews.  He also left a couple of more disparaging texts.  The whole text conversation was disappointing.   This guy may be the best thing since sliced bread but even bread gets moldy once in a while. 
 

Just know that he uses Mr. Number to screen clients which is fine.  I use Companyofmen to screen providers.

just by you calling me a “provider” says enough.  I have a right to pick who I want to pick up as a client.   I rely on reviews just like you rely on reviews for escorts.   Furthermore should you contact someone with poor reviews you would proceed with caution, as I did.

“Provider” is just the term most longtime members use on this forum, probably going back to an earlier time when we were discouraged or not allowed to use the term “escort”. I wouldn’t read too much into it.

I will say I had a similar experience - except in my case he referenced our past texts and misinterpreted them, and then when I called that out he got an attitude.

everyone has their right to do their ‘due diligence’, but some feedback if you’re reading this thread is to moderate your approach.

I’ll jump in here and say that I have met Scott more times than I can count on my hands and feet. He’s a very nice guy and our sessions have always been outstanding. I understand his caution for meeting new people. He has his methods as we all do in this hobby. I think all of us are just trying to stay safe and not get scammed.

I resent the Mr. Number deal.   There is no way for us to know what has been posted and to share our side of the story, is there?   I have never, ever been a no-show, failed to pay or been more than a few minutes late and yet one provider shared with me that I had a negative score on Mr. Number and, therefore, he almost did not see me.   Another provider did turn me down.   

At least here a provider, like Scott has, can come on and tell their side of the story and, on the official review sites, providers can come on and post their side of the story.  

For the record, while I do not normally care for tattoes, ScottB is hot as hell and sounds like one heck of a guy.

I didn’t know someone left negative comments about me, until a provider told me. I filled out a form and had them removed, it took a few days.

I met with scott once while he was in lauderdale and I can see both sides of the coin ... we did not click and he kind of got frustrated that we did not click ... i find a bunch of these online phone survey systems obtrusive ... folks change numbers faster than i change socks these days ... but ultimately if that's his rule, you're not going to get him to change it and trying to do so only ensures enmity if you should eventually meet

Thanks for the intel guys.   Just subscribed.   They don't have to post a name, a phone number, a "stage name, " nothing.   Just their comments.   One bozo that I talked to nearly 2 years ago and whom I elected not to hire because he was certifiable.   He posted 2 comments, one saying I was a no show and the other with symbols of a clown and a hand giving the middle finger.   Another said that I was a "no show."   I have the text exchange still for this 2nd one.   He was in a city 1 hour from me and we tried to coordinate schedules and I couldn't do it.   He replied, calling that a "no show" and then posted that as his comment.   Frustrating.   I've challenged both.   We'll see what happens.   Several good comments.   Has to be frustrating for providers, like the reviews are for me sometimes on RM, when they are so, so different and all over the board.

Another comments that I'm a "fake [sic} the reviews that are good are him making fake reviews."   Weird.   What a hobby that would be to just dream up fake, good reviews and post them on random guys.   Who has time for that type sport?

Wow. Unbelievable. particularly given that everything on Company of Men is gospel truth and no CoM member ever has ever ever made up and posted outlandish fictional stories about a provider.
