The evening was my Christmas gift to myself in lieu of a trip to Puerta Vallarta. it was an amazing night. conversation over dinner was relaxing, intelligent, and charming. savantsav Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago (edited) Unfortunately stood me up. We had made a booking about a month in advance, I confirmed the week before, then we chatted a day or so before. The day of I reach out early in the AM asking if he made it to the city and got no reply. At close to our booking in the evening I texted him asking if everything was alright because I didn’t appreciate being stood up. He replied later apologizing saying he was sick and had to change the flight. I told him I believe he’s sick but he had the whole day and evening to let me know so we could change things. He offered to make it up to me but unfortunately I was traveling the next day and leaving me stood up that way left a sour note. @GordyLex I wish you the best and hope this is truly a learning experience. Nobody likes getting stood up especially in this line of business. Edited 17 hours ago by savantsav
