From Matt's Facebook page:

Today, we officially sold Johnsons!! Don’t worry, we aren’t going anywhere, we were bought by the first publicly traded gay company and they’re keeping me on for 20 more locations worldwide. Starting w Johnsons Sydney (full nude). The stock is still low to get in on. Pride Holdings, PHSE on the OTC. I’m stoked, this deal has been in the works for the last 9 months and includes 10 other gay brands. Johnsons will have a new location every 6 months, so get ready for us, cause we’re coming to a town near you!

I saw this on Matt’s Facebook page. Interesting move. Now if they can just get a club opened in the US that allows full nudity like the old Swinging Richards.

I smell a pump and dump. OTOH, a lot of talent in the organization. I have fond memories of Parliament House in Orlando, which they claim to be associated with. But that was decades ago so not sure what has happened there in the last 20 years.

But perhaps still a house of commons.

More like a house of ill repute.

I went for a week once about 50 years ago. Saw it in a guide … Spartacus or another such book (Damron?) at Toronto’s Glad Day.  Coupled with Disney World attendance I think. The lodgings was certainly an eye opener for a novice. In those days I rented a car.

Putting a club in Sydney makes sense as the gay scene is kind of dying there with the loss of several clubs including Arc as well as the two gay brothels.  Knight Call still functions online but never reopened their legal gay brothel after covid.  So in theory, Johnsons may have a lot more flexibility in Australia where additional conduct is allowed compared to the usa.

This company will be bankrupt in less than a year.  From gaysydney news  $31k USD cash on hand against $15M USD deficit   How fucking stupid can you be????????

Pride Holdings records $23 million  deficit

As of June 30 this year, Pride Holdings, currently going through a corporate name change from Parliament House Enterprises, reported an accumulated deficit of  $US14.96 million (A$23.13 million). Its quarterly financial report warned these conditions “may indicate that the Company will be unable to continue as a going concern for a reasonable period of time”.

In plain terms, this indicates the company faces a risk of running out of money or becoming insolvent if its financial position does not improve. To date it has been relying on debt to sustain operations.

“The Company has experienced net losses from operations since inception but expects these conditions to improve in future years as its new business model is implemented,” the report stated.

It also noted: “The Company has stockholders’ deficits at June 30, 2025 and December 31, 2024 and requires additional financing to fund future growth and support operations.

“The Company’s existence is dependent upon management’s ability to develop profitable operations and to obtain additional funding sources. There can be no assurance that the Company’s financing efforts will result in profitable operations or the resolution of the Company’s liquidity problems.”

The same report showed the company had just  $US31,578 (A$48,832) cash in the bank at the end of June – down from $US244,793 ($A377,672) at the end of March. In December it reported having $US367,094 ($566,415) in cash.

Another filing from late March revealed the company had taken on more than $US861,169 (A$1.33 million) in new debt over the past year.
