I’ve only had a couple of similar situations.

Once, a guy said he was bringing a table—then showed up empty-handed. I sent him right back, no partial payment. He kept insisting he could do the massage on the bed, but I refused. That wasn’t what we agreed on.

Another time, the guy had clearly heavily photoshopped his photos, and his demeanor was way too feminine—completely opposite of the confident, masculine energy he presented online. Definitely not what I signed up for. I did give him a partial payment since he traveled quite a distance, but it was still a disappointing experience.

Just once. The provider was using someone else’s photos. Naturally, no payment was made.

Did you go to his place and just left? Or did he go to your place?

It was an incall. I always try to keep first meets that way. If the provider can’t host, I’ll get a hotel room. In this particular case, he was traveling so I went to his hotel. Didn’t even get past the door. He fed me some nonsense about privacy, so I walked away. The worst part? Besides 45 min. drive each way, he was actually pretty good looking.

I've definitely walked away a few times:

A few times due to gross misrepresentation of their appearance (old photos, using someone else's photos).

One time when the guy, after keeping me waiting outside a bit after our appointed time, proceeded to tell his next client to arrive in a half hour as I started to undress.  I told him he clearly was providing a revolving door type of service, shorting clients on time.  He started arguing with me but I just left.  I consider this misrepresentation because if a masseur has an hourly rate and clearly does not intend to provide an hour's worth of service, then he's misrepresenting himself.

One time because they guy started discussing limits and suggesting extras as soon as he got in my door.  I consider this a misrepresentation because he advertised an "erotic massage" but then upon arrival said his base rate was for both of us still clothed.  He basically wanted an escort rate for a standard massage with a happy ending, so I gave him $40 for his travel time and sent him away. He wanted more, but I told him he was lucky to be getting anything from me because I viewed him as a con artist.  It's too bad because he was extremely attractive.

As a provider,   I've never had that experience,  but my photos are clear and I always try and be concise with all representations.

I've only had one experience with a client and a cancellation of a booking.    He was 45 minutes late and I had another obligation.   15 minutes can be acceptable (with notice provided via text),   but to show up that late.    I just told him the truth and that was it.

Oh sure….

Misrepresented themselves in their pics.
Demanded money upfront (without being discussed prior).
Showed up high as a kite.
Showed up 2 hours late (without calling or explanation).
Attempted to change the agreed upon rate.
Opened the door and realized they were someone who conned me before.
Zero chemistry.

The “zero chemistry" is the only one I’d even consider giving $100 to for their time. Chemistry is hard to predict and hard to fake. If I think they’re really trying and they haven’t committed one of the other "sins", I tend to hand them a $100 for their time and show them the door. Everyone else, just gets the door.
