This is a serious question. I was wondering if anyone had experience with bleaching of the skin around the privates to keep them pink. Asking for a friend, of course. I'd heard you can make your own bleaching cream with peroxide, cream of tartar and mixing it with some generic skin cream and then let it sit for a while. Not sure if this works, but if that's all it takes I can prepare that at home and save myself many hundreds of dollars.

It's your asshole:  I wouldn't want to Polly Pocket it with a homemade concoction.

Fort Troff has sold this for years.  It's cheap.  It works.

Just because a product is "manufactured" doesn't mean it's safe, either.  I see what you recommend lists colloidal silver as one of its ingredients, and that isn't something I'd want to take internally or to apply to my skin.  I'm not sure about the other ingredients; only that one jumped out at me because there's so much misleading hype around it from many in the "I don't trust modern medicine but I will trust the unregulated supplement marketers" camp.

I can't disagree.  You always need to use common sense.

As for colloidal silver, it's great in liquid (spray) form for cuts and body acne.  I wouldn't ever ingest it.

However, a better solution spray for cuts/acne is hypochlorous acid.  It's a fantastic topical.

I’m dating myself here, but this felt like an episode of Password.

Voiceover: Today’s password is… “Polly Pocket.”

Benjamin: Ass.

Me: Uh…

Benjamin: Bleach.

Me: …Spa day?

Benjamin: Bumper.

Me: Car detail?

Benjamin: Brite.

Me: Laundry detergent?

Benjamin: Miniature.

Me: Bidet?

Benjamin: [exhales, defeated] Polly Pocket.

[BUZZER blares. Audience gasps.]

Me: OH MY GOD.

Betty White: Well, at least someone finally bleached the damn thing.

I ordered the Bumper Brite cream last week, after seeing the recommendation here. I started using the cream two days ago, applying it three times daily. So far I have seen some improvement in my discoloration back there, but not a huge difference. But I will report back in a week, since the product description says it can take a week to see results.

So I have used the bumper brite product for 10 days now. 2-3 times daily. I haven’t seen a significant improvement in the discoloration of my hole and surrounding areas. I did notice maybe a little bit of lightening, but nothing dramatic. I don’t think I will continue to use this product. It may work for others though.

10 days isn't a lot of time.  You need to be patient.  A non-RX product is going to take a bit.

If you can get your hands on a higher dose hydroquinone, that's going to be your best bet for a quicker result.

I suggest looking around a site like AllDayChemist.
