When provider gives you his rates and says “plus tip”

I just got the rates for a guy in NYC.  Gave me the rates and then added “plus tip”.  Is that a big turn off for anyone besides me?

Yeah thats completely uncalled for. As I’ve never expected tips, I’ve always been super grateful when I do receive them. He should never put that anywhere in an ad, or say that to any prospect client. It’s bad business.

Totally inappropriate. A nonstarter for me. I always tip and don't appreciate being told to do so.

To me, that’s a clear indicator it’s time to move on. When someone starts asking for tips outright, it suggests a lack of professionalism and respect for the client experience. Tips are meant to be a gesture of appreciation for exceptional service, not something to be expected or requested. A truly great provider earns them through effort, attitude, and quality, not by making clients feel obligated.

Major turn off. Those are the type of escorts that up-sell you on everything and it puts a damper on the whole experience. I don't ever repeat them when this happens. They usually pull this in bed in the middle of action. I like to be quoted a flat rate for what I ask for. Any reasonable "add-ons" should be mentioned and discussed beforehand.
