It’s been a while since I followed baseball (obsessively), but man oh man, 18 innings?!?!  That means both pitching staffs are absolutely wrecked, but at least the Blue Jays pulled out the crucial win.  The two starters in the next game will be under enormous pressure to go 7.  A complete game would be like manna from heaven.

If it had been Toronto the following morning Metro would have been flooded upon opening at dawn and a breakfast sandwich concession at the stadium would have made a killing.

It will be determined in Toronto. I hope that the same location pattern as 1993’s Blue Jays win in 6 won’t jinx it for a repeat whether 6 or 7.

I am rooting for the BJ's!!  I don't dislike the Dodgers but I think a BJ's win of the World Series would piss off someone in DC...and that would be a very good thing.

They are probably the only WS winning team that he would not invite to visit the White House, and I'll bet they would turn down the invitation if he did.

Alejandro Kirk was the first Mexican born player to ever homer in the world series in game one. They tried to get the home run ball back from the fan who caught it but he wouldn't give it up. Dude should've got something for it when he had the chance. It's not all that valuable really.
