BSR Posted October 29 Posted October 29 It’s been a while since I followed baseball (obsessively), but man oh man, 18 innings?!?! That means both pitching staffs are absolutely wrecked, but at least the Blue Jays pulled out the crucial win. The two starters in the next game will be under enormous pressure to go 7. A complete game would be like manna from heaven. thomas, + Charlie, + SirBillybob and 1 other 3 1

I hope that the same location pattern as 1993’s Blue Jays win in 6 won’t jinx it for a repeat whether 6 or 7. cany10011 1
EZEtoGRU Posted October 30 Posted October 30 I am rooting for the BJ's!! I don't dislike the Dodgers but I think a BJ's win of the World Series would piss off someone in DC...and that would be a very good thing. + Charlie, thomas, + SirBillybob and 1 other 1 1 1 1

BuffaloKyle Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Alejandro Kirk was the first Mexican born player to ever homer in the world series in game one. BuffaloKyle Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Toronto came as close as you can to winning the most epic world series ever. That Yamamoto is a robot or AI. Why not just have him pitch every inning of every game. 🤖 thomas, + Charlie and MikeBiDude 3

TonyDown Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Credit to Dave Roberts, a great manager. His mom is Japanese, and he was born in Okinawa. I wonder if that gives any advantage working with Yamamoto, Ohtani and Sasaki? I would guess yes, definitely. thomas and EZEtoGRU 1 1
MikeBiDude Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Kudos to the Blue Jays for a series well and hard fought. My favorite (no secret here on COM) Will Smith continues to impress, most innings caught in World Series history. His late homer in the game 7 11th inning didn’t suck either!
