Timeandchange Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 Long story short, I’ve not been with anyone sexually since before Covid. Reasons aren’t unusual, it just kinda happened. I’m considering hiring as a way to get my groove back but it might be weird to have that conversation with someone. Any suggestions? Is this a bad idea? soloyo215 1
56harrisond Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 I don't see any reason to mention your recent abstinence. Just find a guy you desire and set it up. + Act25, Redwine56, + DrownedBoy and 1 other 3 1
nate_sf Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 Nothing to worry about. It’s more common than you might think that a client will see a provider after a long dry spell. Have the conversation with him if you’d like, but it’s up to you. Best part is you won’t have forgotten how to do the deed… just enjoy yourself and don’t overthink it. jackcali, thomas, Dolman and 6 others 6 2 1

Is this a bad idea? IMO, that's quite a valid reason to hire and for providers to have interest in you as a client. No need to give the provider all the context. Part of their job is to make you comfortable and provide you with a pleasant experience. That's their specialty. They will not find it weird at all. I'm sure you're not the first. Have fun and stay safe. Edited July 30, 2024 by soloyo215 + KensingtonHomo, Whippoorwill and + DrownedBoy 3
KrisParr Posted August 10, 2024 Posted August 10, 2024 All above advice is great. No need for provider to know. Hell, tell him it’s your birthday (or coming soon) and let that be the reason to celebrate. Wish you much fun. Whippoorwill and + Act25 2
+ DrownedBoy Posted August 11, 2024 Posted August 11, 2024 And even if you told the provider, I doubt they'd care too much. A lot of providers consider themselves "sex therapists," so if you tell them, they might try to help you ease back into the groove... Whippoorwill 1
