I personally live with my parents (to take care of them), and I know there are a lot of other adults in a similar situation. And other adults have spouses and/or children. And some adults live with their (adult) siblings or as roommates, so a “date” coming over wouldn’t be appropriate. I’m always baffled when people are baffled by this lol. I remember my "Ah-Ha" moment when I realized that I don't need to be a physical stud to pick up guys at a bar or on Grindr...I just need to be able to host nearby. Now, I eschew from sharing a hotel room or cruise ship cabin with someone, lest it impede on my ability to bring someone back to my room. And, I ensure my hotel is in the gay neighborhoods. MaybeMaybeNot Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 (edited) In LA, everyone has roommates, family, or tennants living with them, so many, many can never host. It's an expensive place to live. But I was posting more as a joke than anything. Edited November 19, 2024 by MaybeMaybeNot

Act25 Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 It was several years ago. Meet cute Asian guy on Grindr. He wants to get fucked by a daddy. I can do that. We meet at my house. Not so cute in person, rough-cut and prison tats or lookalikes. Don’t remember the deed – must’ve not been that great. Finally time for him to leave. My son and nephew (20’s) come home early from whatever (my son lived with me then and my nephew was visiting my son). There was no way he could leave my bedroom without them seeing him. Finally had to ask them to go upstairs and close the door for a minute. They didn’t ask why and I didn’t volunteer. Hustled him out the door. Never felt unsafe, more annoyed. In retrospect, maybe I could’ve sent him out a window (double hung and not that far to the ground).
