Supplemental Charges Mid Session

Hey Guys -

Am new to all this and had something awkward happen during a recent session.

Was in the middle of some fun and provider ask for an additional $100 for something we discussed before he showed up.

I was a bit taken back and decided to focus on “wrapping things up” best I could on my own.  I cut the session short and sent him off.

Have you guys run into this?  Am curious how others would handle this type of situation.

I know escorts who just can't commit to specific acts like rimming by text because they don't know how the client looks, his hygiene, chemistry, etc..

Also some may not answer direct questions because they don't want to be too explicit by text. Could it be possible that you simply assumed he consented to a list of to do things?

I do agree with you and everyone else in this thread that the escort is getting paid for his time. I never liked "a la carte" escorts, dealing with them feels like a bazaar.

I’ve lost track of how many times providers have attempted to start a conversation during our meeting with   “I know we talked about x,y,z …but …”

Maybe clients do this as well.

Yes, clients do this too. It happened the other day actually, when he arrived. He wanted to bottom and I was ready and able to do that for him but I mentioned it’s best to request ahead so I can make sure to be ready for whatever he needs in the session. I’m just grateful he didn’t wait until mid-session because it puts me in the awkward position of having to pause to discuss business, or otherwise refuse him and suggest we plan it for next time and discuss business afterward.

massage is always different.... the expectations for the HE are a whole different game.

It's a massage, it's not sex in theory.

And here’s part of the problem - all these can mean different things to both clients and providers. I don’t think there’s a standard definition/practice to even point to expectations that are atypical.

Bait and switch is never good for trust and smooth interaction in any context. Even if unintended - humans can and do change their minds - as you say there is a need for a discussion and people shouldn’t then complain about that being a mood killer if they triggered it.

To some the glass will always be half empty

Better that than being surprised when a glass is completely empty

The hobby is full of risk for both clients and providers - physical, financial and even mental …isn’t it better to be prepared for (and take precautions for) all eventualities?

Interesting topic. The transactional nature of escort / erotic massage coming up against the organic and random nature of sexual interaction. To what extent does planning and agreeing the content of a session beforehand, for the purpose of agreeing the rate etc detract from the pleasure and excitement of the reality of the session as it unfolds?

I think that many of the best experiences are those that are unplanned. Trying to recreate those in a paid environment is difficult if the details of the session are too choreographed or if there’s an upsell negotiation in the middle! It’s why I like to know what my massage clients specifically don’t want rather than what they do want. We take it for given they do want a great massage and a release.

I like to think of it like a painting. I ask for their frame (their definite boundaries) and they leave me to paint a picture within the frame. Having the frame is great because it helps creativity in the session and that makes it interesting and exciting for the client and me.

I price the session in that context and of course if the client is happy they may leave a tip but most importantly to me is that they come back. Repeat clients are the mainstay of this work.

Wow! What a great recipe for spontaneity! I think I am going to try my next experience with a  provider I've never seen before like that.
