LOL - well, he was in Bangkok until early January.  Long story & I don’t know him, but it was obvious we were at same hotel, Le Meridien.

Interesting tho that he didn’t post a thing about any of the many diversions in BKK.  I did

Maybe he's taking a break. 

I do remember him complaining about unnecessary subjects lately while accidentally bumping them. Possibly that has something to do with him taking a break or it's just a coincidence.

South of the Border is correct that Lucky has been traveling in Asia, but he has also had other things on his mind, and has not been very interested in the discussions here lately. He will return when he is ready.

The other forum is much more oriented toward Asia, where Lucky has evidently been traveling, than this one

Dec. 24, the last day he logged on here, was the day he left for Asia. He is now back, and will probably log on again when he has taken care of business.

Gosh, I didn't think anyone would notice! Yes, I went to Asia on 12/24/23 and stayed three weeks. On return, the jet lag has been pretty nasty.

And to think I was in the same hotel with @SouthOfTheBorder! Wasn't it great? I call it the Gay Meridien as New Year's weekend the place seemed almost entirely gay.

It was great.  hard to beat Le Meridian Bangkok given location, food, rooms & service. really extraordinary & well done.  I can’t wait to go back
