+ Just Chuck Posted December 23, 2023 Posted December 23, 2023 I really enjoy cooking shows on YouTube. They're a great way to take my mind off the rest of life and wind down in the evening. And, I pick up skills to entertain friends and family. (And, I've gotten laid so many times because I was a good cook!) I want to share some of my favorite YouTube channels for cooking stuff. Please reply with some others that I should check out! All thing BBQ - They prepare things on BBQ grills that I wouldn't have imagined as BBQ and it's all amazing: https://www.youtube.com/@allthingsbbq Cowboy Kent Rollins - He's a real cattle ranch cook who now runs a cooking school. He's from far southwestern Oklahoma, so he talks like a lot of my extended family on my dad's side. (He actually kind of reminds me of my dad.). He does a lot of cast iron cooking out of doors. https://www.youtube.com/@CowboyKentRollins Chris Young - is a chef with a scientific background. His clips on how to grill, sear, or brown a steak are fantastic! https://www.youtube.com/@ChrisYoungCooks Kenji Alt Lopez - Kenji is another chef with a scientific background. He understands the chemistry and physics of the cooking he's doing. He's personable and entertaining. He cooks in his own real-world home kitchen or patio. So, the everything he does seems very relatable: https://www.youtube.com/@JKenjiLopezAlt Sam the Cooking Guy - He cooks a lot of diverse things and he's also funny. He does a lot of cooking on an outdoor flattop grill. https://www.youtube.com/@samthecookingguy Townsends - It's as much a history program as a cooking show. Townsend & Son is a company that sells 18th century (American Revolutionary War era) reproduction items. James Townsend does a lot of 18th century cooking. A lot of the recipes and cooking are delicious. Some are just historically interesting. He has a good charismatic vibe too. https://www.youtube.com/@townsends cany10011 and + robear 1 1

Rudynate Posted December 27, 2023 Posted December 27, 2023 I like several of those food porn channels with German or Eastern European women. The recipes are spotty - some terrific, some not so great. The women always show a lot of cleavage and they never show their faces, no speaking, soft background music - very relaxing. Probably the best recipe I have gotten is one for chicken paprikash that I have made over and over again.
56harrisond Posted December 27, 2023 Posted December 27, 2023 Joshua Weissman - On YouTube and IG creating food entertainment, developing original recipes while cooking everything (seriously everything) from scratch. https://youtube.com/@JoshuaWeissman https://www.instagram.com/joshuaweissman/

Becket Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 andy_cooks. Australian guy. He hollers out, "Babe, what do you want for lunch?" She replies, then he whips it up. You get a fast forward 20 second presentation. It's really cute. + Just Chuck 1

ShortCutie7 Posted January 8, 2024 Posted January 8, 2024 I got into watching YouTube cooking videos when I tried keto a while ago and still watch these two channels despite neither cooking nor being on keto: https://www.youtube.com/@LowCarbLove She is clearly loves what she does and her food usually looks really good! https://www.youtube.com/@RahulKamat His cooking is not explicitly keto or even low carb, but it’s low calorie/high protein and also usually looks tasty. Also doesn’t hurt that he’s hot. + Just Chuck 1
alrajee Posted January 10, 2024 Posted January 10, 2024 Although she did not get her start on YouTube, I absolutely love Nigella Lawson and the Nigella Bites series. People love to hate on food shows that weave a story to each episode, but I think when done right, it works. Personally, her eloquence is what sold me with the series. (Subsequent shows didn't have as much charm as Nigella Bites, admittedly.)
+ Just Chuck Posted January 24 Author Posted January 24 Mythical Kitchen (Where host/chef Josh Scherer makes it so the food isn't the only thing that's hot) isn't entirely a cooking show but it's focused on food. Scherer is not only incredibly sexy looking, he's charming, funny, and smart too. He does cook and demonstrate cooking methods in the channel but he also has some incredibly good interviews in his "Last Meals" playlist where he sits down with celebrities and enjoys the foods that they picked if this was to be their last meal alive. (The Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias last meal is super fun.) He has several playlists of different categories of shows and I've loved every one of them that I've watched so far. 56harrisond and whatdoidowiththisagain 1 1

TonyDown Posted February 8 Posted February 8 TheSpicyNonna is a fun vlog, with lots of delicious Italian recipes. The grandson is adorable. Both grandparents are from Italy. The grandmother cooks. + Just Chuck Posted April 7 Author Posted April 7 Tasting History with Max Miller is a really fun channel. He presents researched recipes from history. Some recipes turn out great and some show why they are relegated to history. He puts all of the recipes into some historic context with the who, what, when, why, where, and how. A couple of my favorite videos of his are: The True History of Deep Dish Pizza and The Fake (and real) History of Potato Chips And, I think he's really an attractive guy too. Those eyes and beaming smile positively dazzle me.
