Dinner/entertainment - how does this usually work?

I'm very, very new to hiring providers, and I'm still figuring things out. When providers are booked for a meal and/or entertainment (movie, concert, etc), do rates usually stay the same?

So far, I'm sensing this depends on the provider/client relationship, but I'd like a better perspective on what's typical. If seeing a movie or concert is usually the same rate as any time afterwards, I want to approach the topic respecting norms and provider's time up front. Right now, my working assumption is that all time is billed the same unless the provider offers something different.

Most escorts charge more for the first hour because of the preparation, travel, etc. involved. I would tell the escort what your plans are, and you may wish to shop around. My suspicion is that you'd get a better rate if you tell the escort you'd like an hour of romance followed by a nice dinner and a show, as opposed to 4 hours of action. There certainly have been quite a few times when after a 1-hour hire, I've offered the escort a nice dinner if he'll do it off the clock, and been taken up on that offer. One can definitely not count on the escort saying yes, though (in my experience, it's been about 50%, with chances being slim if the escort has a domestic partner). If you've hired the escort previously for a brief encounter, you're probably in a better position to negotiate a better rate for a longer hire, assuming you're easy to deal with and he thinks he'd enjoy the time he spends with you.

Agree with all the above. I do à la carte service for clients who only want platonic time together.

For everyone else, which is 99% of the time, I quote a rate for one or two hours, and then an all in rate for a longer period to include both platonic time and sexy time. I structure these as a 5-hr all inclusive option to include massage and spa services, sexy time, and time together doing all other activities like dinner, date, etc. It works out to a lower hourly rate. For me right now it’s $200/hr for those longer sessions instead of $300/hr.

Others may be different, but for most of us it makes sense to give the client some sort of break on rate vs full rate X several hours. It’s an opportunity to earn more than we otherwise would for the same time. It’s a more enjoyable time for the client and worth his $.

This concept may not apply to well known porn stars and whatnot, but you never know. It’s always best to ask.

I agree with this. My longer sessions which include dinner and play time are always based on a negotiated rate less than the hourly rate multiplied by the time.

The way I look at it I am offering to pay for a very good meal in a good restaurant, the transport costs and my wonderful.company!

If the provider usually charges $300 per hour then I think $200 or so per hour spread over 4 to 5 hours will yield a fee approaching $1000 for the evening. Not bad when considering a meal costing $250 or more for 2 is included.

I have yet to be refused.
