If people are willing to pay huge sums to rent or buy property, that becomes the going rate. If nobody is willing to pay, the rates go down. Others are supplementing income with which they are basically satisfied. So, if they bill at what appears to be the going higher rate, and they only get 1 or 2 sessions per week from men who can afford it, then they work a couple of hours per week for an extra $3K-$5K per month. There's plenty of masseurs out there and absolutely no point in getting caught up in ones that decide to charge more for their time. It's like standing outside of a high end restaurant and getting upset that they're not charging McDonald's prices. It is totally legitimate to compare notes and it hardly amounts to getting caught up in anything if one shares views on pricing. If there is a high end restaurant where the food & service are not worth it, many would like to know. That's why they are ranked and discussed all the time. I was there around that time and those were not the prices at all. I don't think it's reasonable or worth paying so much. An Uber ride anywhere just outside Manhattan can get you a lot more for less. And if it's a cam, of course, it makes sense to grab as much money and possible, and go. Seems like insanely overpriced providers are to be avoided.
