De[pending on the treatment, many of the nerves in the are of the rectum will still be intact and as a result, fucking could certainly be pleasurable.  Without a prostate, there will be little if any ejaculate and orgasms will likely be different than they were before the surgery.  

As far as  Breaking him, that seems like a humble brag.  Are you generally worried about breaking men you fuck? If not, there is no reason that after a surgical procedure is well healed, that breakage should be an issue.

I am not worried generally, but I once fucked a bottom that hadn’t quite healed from his anal fissure surgery and it got really bad really quick. I just don’t want to chance that again.

Perhaps the “hadn’t quite healed” and “anal fissure” are very different from what your buddy is going through. If he’s a long-time FB, have an honest chat.

I suggest the buddy who had the prostate surgery just do a check in with his doctor first but based on others that have gone through the surgery he will  be cleared to resume sexual activity.
