Oliver and I hit the road within the hour. Tonight's stop will be Richfield, Utah. Feel free to comment on the sights and scenes and make recommendations along our journey back to Ohio.

Fare thee well, journeyers! I always enjoy stopping to see Presidential libraries, and the Eisenhower and Truman libraries are both just off Interstate 70, if that is your route.

I stayed in Richfield just last early fall for a night......great little "hometown"......successful very casual dinner at La Gringa.......

Day 1......mission accomplished. Beautiful scenes along the way! Today, we drive to Limon, Colorado. Wave if you see us pass by. 😋

A cross-country drive is something every one should do at least once in their life. So much of "fly-over" country needs to be experienced in person.

As I sit in the chill of a Canberra morning, I envy you the relaxed drive across so much of the country! Thank you @Oliver for a great weekend, and also to all that assisted and participated in this wonderful tradition.

Day 2 through the mountains of Utah and Colorado.....just spectacular! So many amazing scenes, and varying weather including falling snow and frozen lakes at 11000ft just east of Vail.

Wednesday, we move on to a university town.....Columbia, MO, and we promise to stay out of significant trouble while we are there.  😁 🤭
