Anyways,

Is it safer than the pills? Does it work better? Insurance cover it?

I did talk to my Doctor and read a lot about it.  It did get better efficacy in trails, (probably due to adherence over daily pills)  Side effects were basically soreness at injection site

Every time I take the prep pill, I feel sorry for my kidneys. I’d prefer an injection 😊

People make a huge deal about this, but the actual decrease in function is miniscule.  Under 2.5% in the worst cases.

Let's be realistic:  You have a greater chance of injuring yourself from long-term usage of aspirin than PrEP.

I know right. At Kaiser they run a test on my kidneys every 3 months to monitor them and see if they are ok. They also make a huge deal about this.
