I have a type.  Submissive shorter muscular guys between 30 and 40 who can hold a conversation before and after.  I would do an initial hire with this type of man preferentially but most of my better experiences have been with men who are not submissive, who are not shorter than I and who are usually a bit older than my type. In fact my hottest experiences during the pandemic were with men who had none of those characteristics.

So do I really have a type or is my type a typo?

What about you  is your type your type or a typo?

Only you know your own type, and how rigid you are with that. Your type is probably whomever you have the best experiences with, even if it's not intellectually what you think it ought to be. Sometimes I find men in their early 20s pretty, but they don't really get me off as well as men in their late 20s or 30s. Although there are a lot of characteristics I can say turn me on, in reality I often get turned on the most by men I don't know why turn me on so much. The only real boner-killers for me are baldness and obesity--no offense to anyone in that category, just my preference. I often get turned on by mixed-race men, which makes some sense to me as the greater mixture of genetic material makes for a more genetically healthy individual. Muscular is better than skinny. If they're skinny, I'd rather he have chest hair (if the man is muscular, chest hair doesn't matter). I prefer darker hair and lighter-colored eyes. Black hair and green or blues eyes come off as extremely stunning for me. As might be guessed in my penchant for mixed race, I prefer a medium-toned skin. I would rarely go for a ginger/pasty-skinned man, or one with very dark skin, although if the body and/or face are stunning, there are exceptions. I find all of these "men" handsome, and would enjoy sex with any of them, but my preference for skin tone would be 3rd or 4th from the left:

As those who read a lot of my posts on the message center know, I'm not a big fan of tattoos, but I can ignore tattoos if the man is really hot:

Although I prefer well-kempt hair, for some reason jacking off to photos of Joe Wicks usually lead to pretty intense orgasms:

Again not perfectly my "type", but there's something about Zac Trautman that pushes my buttons. Maybe the exotic Asian-Caucasian look?

Hold on, I want to write this down in case someone asks me about having a type.

Whatever my “type” is and still attracts me…I’ve learned that going off-type can be a very rewarding experience!

Yet for me, every time I have gone off type, it is not rewarding for me.  I have a really strong type preference.

This is such a great topic.

My theory is that there is a type that catches your eye, but that’s not necessarily the type you go home with.  In my case, a Kurt Marshall-type is the one that catches my eye and gets me going (yes, I came out in the 80’s…😎), but I only went out with a guy who looked like him once.  He was a dreamboat (high school linebacker turned musician, with ankles of helium), but there was no spark and I never went down that path again.
But I still look at those guys - every time!

I have one type that I call my archetype and when I have sex with someone of my archetype it is singularly exciting and satisfying.   I have lots of other types - in fact, I have so many types that it could be said that I don't have a type - except for my archetype.   And I have great sex with my other types, but it isn't like sex with someone of my archetype.
