How to get providers to arrive on time

Last week on a business trip, I had back to back nights
where the providers texted exactly at the time we were
to meet, to inform me they were "running an hour or two"
late.

I politely informed them both that that didn’t work for me.
Then I went to the bar, enjoyed champagne and oysters,
and generously tipped the flirty bartender with the money
they lost.

Never let inconsiderate assholes get you down.

I’d want to hear from the other provider’s side, especially considering you said “back to back” nights. Maybe you weren’t giving enough notice and were expecting a miracle.

I had someone like that today: They waited all day and into the night to confirm and get ready to send the deposit. When he finally was ready to do so, I was not going to arrive on the time requested. I can’t be on time, unless someone follows instructions on time. When I said what time I could arrive, he didn’t want to go that late.

It’s like hello, I said multiple times that I needed to have everything arranged by a certain time. People want on time but they wait late to confirm.

If they’d previously agreed to meet at that time and then at the very last minute they announce they’re late, as if the lateness only just that second happened (like are they outside the client’s hotel room door and suddenly they’ve got to douche or do their hair or whatever?) then that’s just unprofessional.

They both had confirmed the date and time over 12 hours prior to the agreed upon time. But feel free to ask them why they didn’t realize until the exact moment of the appointment that they would be unable to make it on time. I’d be fascinated to know. Unfortunately, they didn’t give me a reason or an excuse.

I agree. Once you commit, you’re committed.
If, for whatever reason, you can’t commit….that’s totally cool…..just don’t commit.
This hobby really isn’t rocket science folks.

Well in that case, sounds like a bad case of the flake. My misunderstanding.

That said: apparently it is rocket science because I have to once again remove numbers from ads and make people send consultation payment upfront to book because people can’t seem to follow thru. And I get fed up wasting half a day chit texting with an inquiry, only to end up with no earning or appointment out of it.

My favorite was when a provider (my first time seeing him) cancelled on me 15 minutes before our appointment time so he could see a regular client of his. The provider did not offer to reschedule, and I wouldn't have accepted!

I've had "clients" who have done something similar. Something like, "my regular guy who charges $60 for full f**k and massage is coming over, you're too expensive".

Well knock yourself out... Bet if I offered it for free, you'd still not be able to afford it.

Well, everybody is different and you can be as strict or flexible as you want but there is a principle you are forgetting and is that you're the client. You have the money, you call the shots, there is no reason for you to delegate that power to the service provider. The way a service provider responds let you know if they are professionals or just hot guys that need money and put an ad in any of those websites. You don't want to deal with amateurs or if they are (for instance) porn actors who might be partying, because their sense of awareness and time is completely off, and at times, volatile.  Now, if you allow a SP to be late once and then book again and arrive late again, from their point of view nothing wrong is going on therefor no need for him to stick to a schedule. Unfortunately, and I learned this the hard way, being overly nice and accommodating can be exploited by unscrupulous SPs and then the transaction is no longer an even exchange.

No, we have a dick and body we decide over. I call the shots with my body, pal. This is a two-way deal. I'm not excusing being two hours late, anything past 30 minutes is unacceptable. Hell, anything past 10 minutes without a text is unacceptable but this sentiment, it is exactly the kind of sentiment I spoke of in other threads as to why many escorts leave after 1-2 years and why there will always continually be a high turnover. It is thoroughly deserved if this is the kind of attitude we want to set as a norm. People have a lot of leverage in negotiating during labor shortages, providers in this line of work have even more. Til that fact is recognized, then complaints about the quality of providers in this business are mute. The providers with regulars and who've been doing this longer have even more leverage and will often correctly tolerate less while practicing very scrupulous discretion on which clients they meet. You're going to get less of these experienced ones with a "I call the shots because I'm the client attitude". So don't be surprised that the only ones who follow through in meeting you are crap! Hello! You have a culture that doesn't respect providers and what they do, and what's worse is it can often be perpetuated on here. This isn't food service we're talking about. This is people providing their body, sexuality, companionship and some of the most intimate most personal aspects of a person's life experience. They're going to have more deciding power. And you're going to take this "I'm the customer and I call the shots" attitude while SIMULTANEOULSY....SIMULTANEOUSLY complain on here regularly about the less-than-optimal service you encounter??? It is deserved, sir. Not only is it deserved, but if you can't make the connection between your attitude/behavior and the outcomes in the industry that you receive, then this whole thing is just one giant endless hamster wheel. Act like a douche, think like a douche then come on here and complain. Wash, rinse, repeat. It shows a lack of awareness and introspection that probably carries over into other parts of one's social and interpersonal life. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised. No, I call the shots when it comes to my body. You can call the shots with your money, sure, but don't be surprised and come on here and complain when you have a turnover rate of 1-2 years and many providers who will meet you are over an hour late. Good clients have a better likelihood of getting get good providers. Bad clients have a greater likelihood of getting bad providers. That's what happens in a market when BOTH sides have complete and total autonomy of who they do business with.

In fact, the original poster proves this point further. He was on here complaining a few months ago about a provider because said provider acted like he had other sources of income and didn't need this job. So now later down the road he's dealing with other providers showing up 2 hours late. I mean do you think maybe your attitude is the problem as to what kind of service you're getting? At some point you can only complain about a certain number of providers before one starts to wonder if you're the problem and not everyone else. I've been successfully doing this for ten years. I can say with great certainty, that if you want to act like "I'm the customer, I call the shots" then you will get lesser quality applying for the job. That's just how it works. We make our own beds we sleep in.

This is an important point for prospective clients.

Bravo 🙌🏾

However, idk if turnover rate can necessarily be attributed solely on the basis of client behavior. It could be a myriad of things. At the end of the day, many providers are being exposed to people who may not be their type. I’ve grown to learn: screen, screen, and screen someone.

But just yesterday I had a client show up and I almost sent him home. Not because of his looks, but because he failed to include some other details about himself, and his “iPhone emoji” was not an accurate portrayal of him. But even that gave off a weird vibe. Most clients are okay sending pictures, but it’s starting to be a little bit of a red flag if they don’t.

I don’t like surprises. There’s really no reason these days to not include a picture when approaching providers. Sometimes it almost “annoys me” that someone intentionally doesn’t show what they look like. Iif we’re going to meet, you might as well anyway. Atleast a body pic/half face

I also don’t think that bad =bad and good =good all the time. Similar to how it’s no different if God escorts get bad clients. Lot of it is down to market, city, website.
